DTE Maharashtra Scholarship

DTE Maharashtra scholarship is a scholarship scheme for the domiciles of Maharashtra initiated by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. The scholarship scheme is categorised under the Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna and Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna. Eligible students who qualify for the DTE Maharashtra scholarship can benefit from the scholarship scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

To fulfil the DTE Maharashtra scholarship eligibility criteria, the applicant must be a permanent inhabitant of Maharashtra. The other conditions that specify the eligibility to apply for this scholarship scheme are mentioned below. The Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna and Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna have the following eligibility criteria.

• The main eligibility condition for the DTE Maharashtra scholarship scheme is that the applicant should be an inhabitant of Maharashtra.
• Any other state student will not be able to apply for this scholarship program.
• Other factors based on the candidate’s academic qualifications and financial needs affect the eligibility criteria.
• The student should be a ”Bonafide Student of Institute” and enrolled on a professional or technical degree course.
• The applicants from the deemed university are not eligible.
• The candidates should pass a Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
• The applicants should not be availing of any other scholarship. 
• Only 2 children from one family can take benefit from this scheme.
• The annual family income should not be more than INR 8,00,000.
• At least 50 % attendance in the last semester is mandatory.
• Applicants should not have a gap of 2 years or more during the course tenure.

Rewards

Multiple awards are sanctioned for eligible candidates under the DTE Maharashtra scholarship. How to Apply for the DTE Maharashtra Scholarship?

The applicants can opt for the DTE scholarship through a specified DTE Maharashtra scholarship portal called Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). This portal is run by the government of Maharashtra for the citizens of Maharashtra so that they can avail benefits of different scholarship schemes available on the portal. The stepwise process to apply for the DTE Maharashtra scholarship is given underneath.

Step 1: Firstly, the interested candidates should visit the homepage of Aaple Sarkar DBT Portal on the DTE Maharashtra scholarship website to check for the desired scholarships. 

Step 2: They need to click on “New Applicant Registration” to register themselves and get the DTE Maharashtra scholarship login details.

Step 3: The candidates need to provide their Aadhar numbers for authentication.

Step 4: Two types of authentication are available on the portal for verifying Adhaar.

• OTP: If the applicant’s mobile number is registered with aadhaar, they can opt for the OTP type.
• Biometric: If the mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar, they can opt for the Biometric type.

Step 5: The candidates need to enter their aadhaar numbers and click on the “Send OTP” button. The system will check the aadhaar number and send an OTP to the registered mobile number. Then, they have to enter the OTP and click on the “OK” button.

Step 6: After successfully verifying through OTP, the applicant details obtained from UIDAI will auto-fill the personal details, address details, bank details etc.

Step 7: The applicants need to create a “User Name” and “Password” to access the DTE Maharashtra scholarship portal.

Step 8: After creating login details, they can log in to the registered account using the “Applicant Login” tab.

Step 9: After completing the login, the applicants can look through the dashboard with all available scholarships.

Step 10: The candidates can look for the DTE scholarships in the list and click on the “Apply” button to start a new application.

Step 11: The applicants need to complete the profile by adding all necessary information.

Step 12: Once the profile is updated, the applicants can go to the “All Schemes” section and search for the scholarship under the Department of Technical Education.

Step 13: The applicants can select from the list of suggested scholarship schemes they wish to apply for.

Step 14: A DTE Maharashtra scholarship online form will be displayed. Fill in all necessary details and upload all valid and relevant DTE Maharashtra scholarship documents.

Step 15: Finally, they can submit the duly filled DTE Maharashtra scholarship form.
