The DRDO Research and Innovation Centre (RIC) junior research fellowship invites candidates with a first-class postgraduate degree in science. The Research and Innovation Centre (RIC) at DRDO provides the fellowship. The selected students will receive INR 31,000 along with HRA every month. The last date to apply for the DRDO Research and Innovation Centre (RIC) junior research fellowship is June 15th, 2023 (tentatively).

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates applying for the DRDO Research and Innovation Centre (RIC) junior research fellowship should hold a postgraduate degree from an institution recognised by the Indian government. They should also possess the required work experience in the relevant field. Given below are the details of the eligibility criteria:
- The candidates should hold a first-class postgraduate degree.
- The candidates should not be over 28 years of age. However, DRDO provides age relaxation to candidates belonging to the SC, ST and OBC
- They should have valid GATE/ NET
- They should have a postgraduate degree in material science, physics or applied sciences.
OR
- They should have a first-class ME or MTech degree in material science.
- The applicants should have work experience in thin film deposition, fabrication techniques and MEMS design tools.
Rewards
The Development Organisation (DRDO) will select a suitable candidate for the position of a junior research fellow. They will receive a consolidated amount of INR 31,000 per month as a fellowship stipend. Additionally, DRDO will also offer them HRA as per the government norms.

Interested candidates should ensure they meet all the requirements before applying for the DRDO Research and Innovation Centre (RIC) junior research fellowship. They should download the application form and post it to the research and innovation centre at DRDO in Chennai. The stepwise application process are as follows:

Step 2: They should duly fill in the details and attach the required documents.
Step 3: The applicants should enclose the form and the documents in an envelope. They should mention 'Application for JRF' in the top left corner of the envelope.
Step 4: Next, they should post the envelope to the below address:
