Eligibility Criteria
The students should be Indian citizens to apply for the college board India scholars program. The eligible candidates can benefit from the scholarship in two ways.
- The candidates applying for the SAT exam will obtain up to 90% discount on their SAT registration fees, which is up to INR 6,149.
- The top rankers in the SAT exam will receive scholarships at selected Indian universities.

Applicants studying in class XI and class XII can apply for the discount vouchers and save up to 90% on the SAT registration fees. All the eligible candidates who apply for the SAT discount will obtain an SAT reduction voucher. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- The candidate can be studying in class XI or class XII.
- They should be Indian citizens.
- The candidates with a family income less than INR 8,00,000 per annum will get a 90% discount on their SAT registration fee.
- Those with a family income between INR 8,00,000 to INR 15,00,000 can get a 50% discount on their SAT registration fee.
Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Scholarship
The college board India scholars program provides scholarship opportunities to students enrolling in selected Indian universities. The candidates will receive the scholarship amount based on their family income. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- The candidates should be Indian citizens.
- They should have passed the class XII exam.
- The family income should not exceed INR 8,00,000 per annum.
- The candidate should have secured a minimum of 1300 marks in the SAT exam.
- The candidates should have enrolled in an undergraduate degree in one of the selected Indian universities.
Note: The board will consider candidates who score 1300 or more marks in the SAT entrance exam as SAT India top performers.
College Board India Scholarship Benefits
In collaboration with the global alliance, the college board disburses scholarship amount to deserving candidates. The college board grants up to INR 1,60,000, and the global alliance members will cover the rest of the scholarship amount. The selected scholars will receive a standard scholarship amount until the completion of their course. The providers will waive 100% of the selected candidates' tuition fees until they complete their course.

The college board India scholars program prioritises students who come from lower-income families. Interested candidates can refer to these steps to know how to apply for the college board India scholars program:
Step 1 - The candidates should visit the official college board India scholars program website.
Step 2 - They should scroll down and click on the link 'register now'.
Step 3 - The candidates should click on the 'create account' button.
Step 4 - Fill in the registration form with the correct details.
Step 5 - After reading the terms and conditions, the candidates should tick the box and click on 'next'.
Step 6 - The candidates should upload the necessary documents and click on 'submit'.
Step 7 - They will now obtain a voucher code on their registered email ID.
Step 8 - The candidates should sign up to apply for the SAT exam.

Step 10 - After the payment, candidates will receive a confirmation email from the college board.
