BYPL SASHAKT scholarship is an opportunity proposed by the BSES Yamuna Power Limited. The students belonging to the underprivileged section of society can apply for the scholarship. Under this scheme, the government is supporting the desirable students by providing them financial assistance for their academic sessions. The students pursuing their final year, from any recognized Delhi Institution can avail of the services provided by the scholarship.
The selected students will be rewarded with upto INR 30,000 for their further sessions. BSES Yamuna Power Limited is a power distribution company having the sole motive of encouraging and improving the lives of the students of the underprivileged section of society. CSR also allied his forces with the Yamuna group to help the students in their licensed area. Different CSR programs are also held in society for educational purposes.
Note: BYPL SASHAKT scholarship application for 2023 still needs to be updated. However, the expected date for 2023 will be declared soon.

Eligibility Criteria
The students should ensure that they are fulfilling all the requirements. The students pursuing their final year from any of the Delhi universities can apply for the BYPL SASHAKT scholarship. Some of the necessary conditions are as follows:
- They must be a permanent resident of the country (i.e India).
- They must be pursuing final year (any stream) of the undergraduate program from any of the Delhi University.
- They must have cleared the previous examination with at least 55%marks.
- The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 6,00,000 from all the sources.
- The students of the employees of Buddy4study and BYPL would not be eligible.
Rewards
The selected students for the scholarship will be rewarded up to INR 30,000. The money can be used on academic expenses only (like internet, food, library, accommodation, etc).
(Note: The total amount of the scholarship may differ if the behaviour of the student is not found satisfactory).
How to Apply?
The students can apply online for the BYPL SASHAKT scholarship 2023. The students who are applying for the first time should register themselves into the scholarship portal. The students can apply for the scholarship by using the steps given below:
Step 1: Go to the official website of the scholarship.
Step 2: The students applying for the first time should register themselves into the portal.
Step 3: Log in with your registered ID and Password.
Step 4: Now, the student will be diverted to the SASHAKT scholarship form page.
Step 5: Click on the Start button to begin the process.
Step 6: Fill in all the necessary details.
Step 7: Upload all the relevant documents.
Step 8: Tick on the Terms and Conditions button and take a long preview of the details filled.
Step 9: If all the details are correct on the preview screen then click on the Submit button to end the procedure.

Selection Criteria
The selection criteria of the BYPL SASHAKT scholarship have multiple steps. They are as follows:
- The initial nomination will be based on the academic merit and financial background of the student.
- A proper telephonic interview will be organised for the selected students.
- Later, all the documents submitted by the students will be verified by the selection team for the final stage.
