  • About X-GMT: Xavier General Management Aptitude Test [X-GMT] is a University Level Entrance Test conducted by Xavier University, Bhubaneshwar [XUB] for admission into various postgraduate MBA programs.
  • About Xavier University: The university was established by the Jesuits in 1987. As of 2018, XUB has Xavier School of Rural Management (XSRM), Xavier School of Human Resource Management (XaHR), Xavier School of Sustainability Management (XSOS), Xavier School of Economics (XSE), Xavier School of Commerce (XCOM), Xavier School of Law (XLS) and a Center of Urban Management (XUMG) providing UG, PG and PhD programmes.

X-GMT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate's application might be rejected at any time during the process of admission if the candidate is found to be ineligible for the examination. Before appearing for any exam, candidates need to be well versed with eligibility criteria, such that any important events related with eligibility criteria should not be missed out at any circumstances. Applicants must go through the X-GMT 2021 Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form.

X-GMT 2021 Eligibility Criteria is given below.

  • Education: The candidates must have passed a Bachelor's Degree in any from a recognized university.

  • Qualifying Marks: The candidates should have secured 55% marks to apply for all MBA programs and a minimum 60% marks to apply for the Master of Business Finance [MBF] program.

  • Age Limit: This is no upper age limit to apply for X-GMT.

  • Final Year: Candidates pursuing their final year can also apply for X-GMT 2021.

  • Register by providing your details. 
  • Login-ID and Password will be generated and sent to your mail address.
  • Login using the login credentials.
  • Fill in all the relevant information carefully.
  • Upload photograph and signature in required resolution and format.
  • Pay the application fee through the payment gateway.
  • X-GMT 2021 Registration Date: Application Form is available on the official website of Xavier University, Bhubaneshwar [XUB] from Oct 12, 2020 and the last date to submit the Application Form will go on till Dec 9, 2020.

X-GMT 2021 Admit Card

  • Availability: X-GMT 2021 Admit Card will be available on the official website from Jan 21, 2021.
  • Download: Candidates should download the Hall-Tickets from the University website: https://www.xub.edu.in/
  • ID Proof: Candidate must carry any government id proof such as Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport along with the Admit Card.
  • Note:
    • The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
    • Applicants have to download and take multiple prints of the X-GMT 2021 Admit Card and preserve it till the admission process is over.

X-GMT 2021 Exam Pattern

  • Mode: X-GMT 2021 will be conducted online i.e. Computer-based Test (PBT) on Jan 31, 2021.
  • Question Type: The question paper will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Topics: X-GMT 2021 will cover the topics which comprise of Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Emotional Quotient, and General Awareness.

X-GMT 2021 Results

  • Results: Results will be declared on the official website for all category candidates based on qualified marks on Feb 4, 2021.
  • Scorecard: Candidates have to download Rank Card from the official website only.
  • Cut-off: The X-GMT 2021 Cutoff will be determined by Xavier University, Bhubaneswar. The university will release both sectional as well as total cutoff marks for candidates who will be shortlisted for the GD and PI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview) as well as for the Writing Ability Test (WAT).
  • Tie Breaking: In case of a tie between candidates securing the same mark in a test, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of date of birth of the candidate with priority to the older candidate.
  • Revaluation: There is no provision for revaluation or personal verification of the Computer-based Test (CBT).

X-GMT 2021 Selection Process

  • Candidates who are shortlisted based on the scores of various exams (X-GMT, CAT, XAT, GMAT) will be called for a Group Discussion.
  • Which will be followed by a Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview.
  • This process will be conducted in various cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata.
  • The Final selection will be based on the scores in the entrance exam, group discussion, writing ability test, and personal interview.
  • Past Academic Record and Work Experience will also be taken into account for the selection process.

X-GMT 2021 Counselling

  • Counselling: Candidates who have cleared the X-GMT 2021 will be called for the counselling process.
  • Selection Process: X-GMT 2021 Selection Process will be dependent on the sectional and the total cut off marks which will be released by Xavier University, Bhubaneshwar.
  • GD, PI, and WAT: X-GMT 2021 GD and PI Process will take place on the basis of the sectional and total cutoff marks which will be released by Xavier University, Bhubaneswar. Candidates who score above the cutoff marks will be invited to participate in the GD and PI round.
