Steps to Register for NIFT Counselling 2024
Candidates may follow the steps below to register for NIFT counselling procedure.
Register on Official Website of NIFT 2024
To take part in NIFT counselling procedure, candidates will have to visit the official website at nift.ac.in of National Institute of Fashion Technology by providing NIFT application form number, date of birth and password.
Receive System Generated NIFT Letter
Once the candidates register for NIFT counselling 2024, they will receive a system-generated letter containing the Nodal Officer's details along with the list of important documents required for NIFT counselling and admission process.
In case if any of the documents are written in any other language, the candidates must ensure that the document is translated into English/ Hindi. The transition is duly verified by the issuing institution/ gazetted officer/ self-attested (original and photocopy) by the candidate at the time of counselling/ admission, as per the official NIFT website.
If the candidates fail to produce the document with the requisite translation, their candidature will be cancelled.
Upload Required Documents
Candidates must upload all the required documents by logging in to the official website of NIFT using their application form number, date of birth and password.
Make Payment of NIFT 2024 Admission Fee
If the candidates are offered a seat during NIFT admission at any campus of NIFT admission, then the candidates will have to pay the requisite fee immediately. Candidates can pay the admission fee online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, wallet or UPI.
Participate in Document & Fee Verification
Once the candidate uploads all the documents and pays the admission fees, their details will be verified. Once the verification process is completed, the candidate will receive a zoom meeting link that will contain NIFT counselling 2024 dates and further details.
Generation of Seat Request
Candidates must appear for the Zoom meeting as scheduled by NIFT authorities. On the day of counselling, NIFT counselling official will show the seating chart to the candidate as per their choice using the 'Screen Sharing' feature of the Zoom meeting.
Once the candidate confirms their final choice for NIFT admission, the official will allot (as per their CMR/ request) that seat for the candidate and send it further to NIFT HO for approval.
Receive Allotment Letter
Candidates will be issued an allotment letter or the admission receipt duly signed by the Nodal officer of NIFT campus. Once the candidate receives the receipt, they cannot make any changes to the course and campus as they selected for admission.

Steps to Register for NIFT 2024 Spot Round
Spot round registration started on the official website at nift.ac.in. Below mentioned are the steps to register for NIFT 2024 counselling. It is recommended to fill in as many choices as possible to optimize one’s chances of admission.
- Step 1: Visit the official website and login using the login credentials.
- Step 2: Candidates need to fill in their choice of participating institute and academic program. Entries should be in the order of priority.

NIFT 2024 Counselling Highlights
NIFT 2024 counselling process is conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology for the qualified candidates after NIFT 2024 result is announced. Spot round is the final round of seat allotment, so candidates will not be allowed the option to withdraw their seats.
