What is NIFT Seat Matrix 2024?
Before understanding the NIFT seat matrix, candidates must be familiar with the NIFT entrance exam. The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts the NIFT exam. It is a national-level exam conducted once a year for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate design courses.

Q. How are seats allotted in NIFT?
Ans. Seat are allotted in NIFT only to the qualified candidates based on their performance and the availability of the seats as per the NIFT seat matrix. The reservation policy followed by NIFT allocates a certain percentage of seats to different categories, such as 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 10% for Gen-EWS.

Ans. NIFT follows a reservation policy where seats are reserved for specific categories. While regular seats are available for All-India candidates, reserved seats are available only for the categories of candidates for whom it is reserved.
