UCEED Cutoff 2026 for part A will be released by IIT Bombay in February 2026. The Part A cutoff will be used to select candidates. Whereas, the Part B answer booklets will only be reviewed if you have passed Part A. Furthermore, the ones who meet the Part A cut-off will receive total marks and UCEED 2026 merit ranks by category. If you fail to meet the Part A cut off then the answers for Part B will not be checked. The Part A cut off will only form the UCEED merit list 2026 based on your category and tottal marks secured. The mean and standard deviation for Part A are 61.50 and 25.69, respectively.
The UCEED 2026 cut off will be released in April 2026. The ones who do not meet the UCEED cut-off will only receive Part A scores on your UCEED 2026 scorecard. The cut-off will be displayed in the form of mean and SD. It will reflect the opening and closing ranks required for admisison into B.Des programs for different UCEED participating colleges.
The cut-off for each UCEED 2026 participating college, along with the opening and closing ranks for admission to the B.Des program, will be released. The UCEED 2026 counselling process will be held in five rounds.

You can check the UCEED part A cutoff by navigating to the 'Announcement' section of the entrance exam for BDes admissions. The UCEED passing marks and cutoff will be released category-wise and institute-wise for admission to all participating institutes. Follow the steps given below to download the cut-off list.
- Step 1: You must go to the official website. uceed.iitb.ac.in
- Step 2: On the home page, locate and click on the tab 'UCEED cutoff'
- Step 3: The cutoff will be displayed on the screen of the candidates.

UCEED Cutoff 2026 Part A threshold is different from the entrance Cutoff in the following ways:
- The UCEED 2026 Part A marks are considered when determining the qualifying Cutoff. Shortlisted ones will have their Part B papers examined if you meet the cutoff marks in Part A.
- Additionally, UCEED 2026 merit ranks will only be given to shortlisted ones.
- The Part A UCEED cutoff 2026 is solely used to narrow down you for review of Part B answer sheets; it is not the admission cut-off.
- The final merit rank that receives a seat, however, is the entrance UCEED Cutoff marks. The combined score of Parts A and B will be taken into consideration for creating the UCEED 2026 merit rank (or ranking). Additionally, each institute will set its own UCEED minimum marks and UCEED Cutoff.
Shortlisting Procedure for UCEED Cutoff
Marks obtained in UCEED cutoff 2026 Part-A will be used to shortlist the candidates. The average UCEED Cutoff marks and standard deviation will be rounded off after the first decimal place. As mentioned, candidates belonging to the reserved categories shall have to fulfill a relaxed cut-off mark.

UCEED CutOff Tie-Breaking Criteria
If two or more candidates score the same, then the tie-breaking procedure will be used. The tie-breaking criteria for two candidates acquiring the same UCEED cutoff 2026 are outlined below.
- The one who scores more in section B will be awarded a higher rank.
- If the tie persists, the one who obtains more in section A will be preferred.
- If still there is a tie after the above two processes, then both of you will be awarded the same rank.
