SEED 2026 Registration Ongoing! The Symbiosis International University released the SEED application form 2026 on Aug 1, 20225, for the B.Des program. The SEED application form 2026 last date to apply is Nov 30, 2025. If you wish to apply for it, you must have a finished class 12th or equivalent with 50% (45% for SC/ST) in any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts). The SEED 2026 application form will be available in the last week of Aug 2025 for the M.Des program.

The commission has announced the SEED 2026 important dates and the exam will be held on Jan 11, 2026. The admit card for the same will be out on Jan 5, 2026. While the mock test will be held on Jan 7, 2026. The exam will have 60 questions and the seed exam timing is 60 minutes. That is, you get 1 minute to solve each question. The total marks for it is 60. You will be awarded 1 mark for every correct attempt, while there is no negative marking for the incorrect response

About SEED Exam

Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) is a design aptitude test conducted by Symbiosis International University (SID) to offer admissions in B.Des programs and other designing programs. Since 2019, admissions in B.Des courses offered at Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture, and Design (SSPAD), Nagpur, have also been done through the SEED exam.

SEED entrance exam 2026 is held to evaluate you on different parameters such as colour, geometry, visual observations, general design awareness, creative thinking abilities, and awareness of Indian culture, craft, traditions, etc., involved in designing. SEED is an objective exam with multiple-choice questions.

Based on your performance in the SEED Exam, you are offered admission in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs offered in disciplines such as Graphic Design (GD), Video Film Design (VFD), Animation Film Design (AFD), User Experience Design (UED), Product Design (PD), Interior Space Design (ISD), Fashion Design (FD) and Fashion Communication (FC) offered at SID

SEED Eligibility Criteria 2026

To be eligible to sit the SEED entrance exam 2026, you must meet the academic requirements outlined in the SEED eligibility criteria 2026. SEED Application Form 2026

The SEED 2026 application form is now open. Eligible ones can complete the form between Aug 1, 2026 to Nov 30, 2026. The SID application form is for admission to the B.Des program at participating colleges. Read the steps below to fill out the SEED 2026 application form.

1. Registration: To get registered, fill out the registration form with information such as your email address and mobile phone number. After successfully registering, an applicant account will be generated.
2. Fill in the form: In this stage, fill in your personal, academic, and contact information. Also, select your preferred exam centre.
3. Payment of the Application Fee: After checking that the application fee is complete in all aspects, pay the INR 3,250 exam fee. The cost must be paid online via net banking, credit, or debit cards.
4. Submit the Form: Apply after it is completed in all aspects.

SEED Syllabus 2026

• Visualization: Understanding and visualization of simple and complex 2D & 3D geometric shapes, their manipulations and spatial relationships through representations in pictorial and geometric forms.

SEED Admit Card 2026

The Symbiosis Institute of Design will release the the SEED 2026 admit card on Jan 5, 2026. The admit card includes your name, roll number, the day and time of the SEED 2026 exam, and exam instructions. The admit card does not include information about the exam centre as it will be administered remotely. 

Steps to Download SEED Call Letter 2026

1. Click the admission card download link.
2. A login window will open.
3. Enter the SEED ID and password.
4. After logging in, the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download and take a printout of the admit card.

SEED Mock Test 2026

The Symbiosis Institute of Design conducts the mock tests a few days before the exam. The SEED mock test 2026 will be scheduled for Jan 7, 2026. The mocks are available online and can be used by you to prepare for the exam. 

Mock tests are an important aspect of exam preparation since it assist you in improving your time management skills and understanding how the question paper is structured. Aside from that, performing mock examinations provides a realistic representation of the exam, which boosts confidence.

SEED Last Minute Tips 2026

The ones attempting the exam are advised to go through some of the SEED last day exam tips to increase the chances to score better.

• Practice Mock Exam: Mocks are identical to sample papers, with the exception that they can help you become more exam-like. As a result, mock exams aid in both your mental preparation for the exam and your understanding of the preparation procedure.

• Stay Focused: Avoid planning too far ahead for SEED Preparation 2026. For example, refrain from wondering what would happen if I received that many marks. But that is all you can manage, so focus all of your energy on the here and now.

SEED Result 2026

The Symbiosis Institute of Design will announce the SEED Result 2026 on Jan 19, 2026. The results have been made available online through the institute's admissions portal. To check the exam results, log in using your registered B.Des login ID and password.

The exam results will be used to select you for the Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) stage. The first SEED 2026 merit list will be announced in April 2026. The merit will be prepared using the following parameters:

Steps to Download SEED Scorecard 2026

You can follow the steps to download the SEED result:

• Step 1: You can visit the official website sid.edu.in
• Step 2: Now, you must check for 'Know your admission status' and click on the link.
• Step 3: You can use the B.Des ID and password that was generated during registration.
• Step 4: The exam results will be displayed on the screen.
• Step 5: You can download and print out a copy of the result.

SEED Counselling 2026

The respective colleges will start the SEED 2026 counselling process just after the results are announced. The seat allotment cum merit list will be out in April 2026. The merit list cum seat allotment will be released soon on the official website. You will be required to enter your SEED login 2026 details to access it.
