SEED 2026 Registration Ongoing! The Symbiosis International University released the SEED application form 2026 on Aug 1, 20225, for the B.Des program. The SEED application form 2026 last date to apply is Nov 30, 2025. If you wish to apply for it, you must have a finished class 12th or equivalent with 50% (45% for SC/ST) in any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts). The SEED 2026 application form will be available in the last week of Aug 2025 for the M.Des program.

The commission has announced the SEED 2026 important dates and the exam will be held on Jan 11, 2026. The admit card for the same will be out on Jan 5, 2026. While the mock test will be held on Jan 7, 2026. The exam will have 60 questions and the seed exam timing is 60 minutes. That is, you get 1 minute to solve each question. The total marks for it is 60. You will be awarded 1 mark for every correct attempt, while there is no negative marking for the incorrect response

About SEED Exam

Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) is a design aptitude test conducted by Symbiosis International University (SID) to offer admissions in B.Des programs and other designing programs. Since 2019, admissions in B.Des courses offered at Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture, and Design (SSPAD), Nagpur, have also been done through the SEED exam.

SEED entrance exam 2026 is held to evaluate you on different parameters such as colour, geometry, visual observations, general design awareness, creative thinking abilities, and awareness of Indian culture, craft, traditions, etc., involved in designing. SEED is an objective exam with multiple-choice questions.

Based on your performance in the SEED Exam, you are offered admission in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs offered in disciplines such as Graphic Design (GD), Video Film Design (VFD), Animation Film Design (AFD), User Experience Design (UED), Product Design (PD), Interior Space Design (ISD), Fashion Design (FD) and Fashion Communication (FC) offered at SID

SEED Application Form 2026

The SEED 2026 application form is now open. Eligible ones can complete the form between Aug 1, 2026 to Nov 30, 2026. The SID application form is for admission to the B.Des program at participating colleges. Read the steps below to fill out the SEED 2026 application form.

  1. Registration: To get registered, fill out the registration form with information such as your email address and mobile phone number. After successfully registering, an applicant account will be generated.
  2. Fill in the form: In this stage, fill in your personal, academic, and contact information. Also, select your preferred exam centre.
  3. Payment of the Application Fee: After checking that the application fee is complete in all aspects, pay the INR 3,250 exam fee. The cost must be paid online via net banking, credit, or debit cards.
  4. Submit the Form: Apply after it is completed in all aspects.

SEED Admit Card 2026

The Symbiosis Institute of Design will release the the SEED 2026 admit card on Jan 5, 2026. The admit card includes your name, roll number, the day and time of the SEED 2026 exam, and exam instructions. The admit card does not include information about the exam centre as it will be administered remotely.
