UPES DAT 2023 counselling will be conducted by UPES DAT for those candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test. Those who are eligible based on their JEE or UCEED ranks will have their names listed on the merit list released on the official website. In order to take part in the UPES DAT 2023 counselling process, the candidates have to register themselves online on the official website. In UPES Design Aptitude Test 2023 Counselling, slots get assigned to the candidates who have qualified as per the availability.
Candidates have to give a Personal Interview and Presentation of Work Portfolio during the UPES DAT 2023 counselling.
Portfolio Requirements
- Sketches: Candidates must bring their hand-drawn sketches/renderings made by using pencil, pen, colour markers or any other device such as charcoal, natural dyes etc.
- Drawings: The drawings must be related to the everyday object, nature, imagination, symbolic or experimental ones.
- Photography: The photography buff candidates will have a platform where they can showcase their work.
- Submission: The candidates can bring pictures captured by them OR if they have done any experimentation on Digital media such as drawing, sketching, and rendering using digital media, tools, and techniques can also be submitted.
- Model: The candidates can bring a Physical Model or a Prototype such as something made out of clay, plastic, wood, cardboard, etc.
- Experiment: The candidates can bring with them any experimental work which they had done ever to express or taste the creative skills.
- Certificates: The candidates can bring any Certificates of appreciation or participation related to art and creativity.

Portfolio Requirements:
- Sketches: The candidates must bring a collection of drawings, sketching and rendering that are done by hand using different varieties of techniques and media including colour markers and colour pencils.
- A number of pages: The candidates must have a collection that should be at least 10 to 15 pages.
- Model: Candidates must bring any Physical Model / Prototype - fabrication/construction work.
- Digital Work: Candidates can also get any sort of digital work (software) 2 dimensional, 3 dimensional such as drawing, sketching and rendering using digital media, tools and techniques.
