NEET BAMS 2025 Merit List Tie-breaker

If there are two or more applicants who have received identical NEET cutoff for BAMS marks, their merit rank would be decided by taking into account the following variables in the order of importance.

• Marks Earned in Biology: Candidates will be given substantial preference over those with lower marks in the biology component of the exam, which also includes botany and zoology.
• Marks obtained in Chemistry: If the aforementioned requirements are not met, the candidate with the higher Chemistry score will be given preference over those with lower scores.
• Number of Wrong Answers: If, after taking into account both of the aforementioned criteria, there is still a tie, the applicant with the fewest incorrect answers will be given preference over those with a greater number of erroneous answers.
• Age Factor: If there is a tie in the NEET passing marks, the older candidate will be given preference over the younger ones.
