  • In the IPMAT 2022, the pattern was completely different compared to last year, meaning there were 90 questions in the exam.

  • The quantitative ability (MCQ) section was relatively tough for students from a commerce background, as most questions were unconventional for the IPMAT 2022 exam.
  • Students from PCM and PCB backgrounds felt the questions were at a moderate level of difficulty but were tricky.
  • There was 1 question each from probability, height & distance, speed & distance, time, average and functions.
  • There were 2-3 questions each from number systems, set theory, functions, and arithmetic & geometry progression.
  • There were questions on algebra and set theory, and most were complex for students that appeared in the IPMAT exam 2022.
  • Five questions followed 1 question on DI in the IPMAT.
  • Also, there were 3-4 questions on permutations and combination topics in this section of the IPMAT 2022.

IPMAT Indore 2022 Paper Analysis 2022 for Verbal Ability (VA)

45 questions had to be attempted in 40 minutes for this section of the IPMAT exam 2022.

  • Most students stated that 5-6 questions followed 2 RC passages.
  • The passages were lengthy, but they were reasonably easy.
  • There were 708 questions on fill-the-blanks, which were difficult in the IPMAT exam 2022.
  • There were 2-3 questions on idioms and phrases that were easy to answer in the IPMAT exam 2022.
  • Grammar questions were doable and manageable.
  • There were 4-5 questions each on para jumbles, spotting the error, and para completion, which was of easy to moderate level.
