Introduction to Amity JEE 2019

  • About Amity: The Amity University was established on 24th March 2004 and it is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) through the Act of State Legislature. Amity offers academic programmes in both traditional and distance learning mode. The Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Noida has some of the most talented Academicians, Scientists & Researchers and it is ranked 34 in India by the NIRF engineering ranking for 2018.

  • Authority: Pearson VUE conducts exam on behalf of Amity (It helps to develop, manage, deliver and grow computer-based tests). 

  • Entrance Exam: The Amity Joint Entrance Examination is commonly known as Amity JEE which is conducted by the Amity University. This examination is the National Level Entrance Test usually conducted in the various cities for the candidates who are looking for admission in various B.Tech programmes.

  • Mode of Exam: Exam is conducted online i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

  • Syllabus: The syllabus includes topics related to class 12th Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and English or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English.

  • Exam centres: Exams are held in almost 22 cities across India including Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

  • Rounds: Round one is the Amity JEE which is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and Round two consists of Counselling / Personal Interview Session.

  • Selection Criteria: The candidates who make it in Round one and Round two will be considered as selected candidates for admission in Amity. The selection is purely based on merit and the cut off marks will be decided based on the performance of the candidates who appear for the exam.

  • Application Process: The application process of Amity JEE 2019 will begin from 1st January 2019.
  • Date of Examination: Amity JEE 2019 Online mode of examination will be held in between the months of April and May 2019.

  • Admit Card: The Amity JEE 2019 Admit card will be available from January 2019 onwards. The candidates are advised to download the admit card from the Amity JEE 2019 official website of Amity University.

  • Admission: The university provides admission to only those applicants who have scored higher marks in the entrance exam.
  • Amity JEE 2019 Important Dates section gives details to the candidates about the ongoing and upcoming events regarding the admission process for Amity JEE 2019.

Amity JEE 2019 Eligibility

  • Minimum Qualification Required: The candidate must have passed in 10+2 (Class XII) examination or its equivalent from recognized board or university.

  • Mandatory Subjects: The candidates must have studied English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their main subject in Class 12th.

  • Amity JEE 2019 Eligibility section gives candidates the details about the eligibility to appear for the entrance exam so as to take admissions in the Amity University.

Amity JEE 2019 Syllabus

  • Subjects: Amity JEE 2019 constitutes questions related to 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

  • Concepts: Most of the concepts will be tested from the NCERT for class 11th and 12th. Speed and accuracy plays a major role in the clearing the entrance examination.   

  • Candidates have to attempt either Mathematics or Biology as per the eligibility of the program applied.

  • Amity JEE 2019 Syllabus gives detailed information about the syllabus for the entrance exam to the candidates and guides them to prepare well.

Amity JEE 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Examination: The examination will be conducted online i.e. (Computer Based Test).
  • Nature of Questions: The question paper will consist of objective type questions.

  • Number of Questions: There will be a total of 90 questions.

  • Time Duration: Time given for the candidates to complete the examination is 120 minutes. The candidates should allot approximately 1.25 minutes to each question so that he/she can manage time better and complete the examination on time.

  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will reward the candidate with 4 marks and for each incorrect answer there will a deduction of one mark, that is, +4/-1 for every question.

  • Sections: There are four sections in the question paper- General English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (and biology) and the total marks of the examination is 360.

  • Amity JEE  2019 Exam Pattern will provide complete information to the candidates willing to take up the examination. 

Amity JEE 2019 Application process

  • Availability: The Candidates are required to fill the application form for Amity JEE 2019 on the official website which will be available from 1st January 2019

  • Mode: The candidates can fill the Amity JEE 2019 form in either of the two modes online or offline.  

  • Application Fee: The application fee is INR 1100/-.

  • Amity JEE 2019 Application Process section gives candidates the details about the application process and candidates can fill accordingly. 

NOTE : Applicants must not overwrite on the hard copy of the application form as it will lead to rejection of the application form by the conducting authority.

Amity JEE 2019 Results

  • Availabilty: Amity JEE 2019 results will be available from 10th May 2019.

  • Cut-Off: The cut-off will be decided soon after the exams are over. It depends on the number of students who have appeared for the exam and their performance.

  • Counseling: Only those candidates who have qualified Amity JEE 2019 Results will be allowed to take part in the counselling process. Candidates qualified in the exam will be notified by the Amity University through registered emails.

  • Amity JEE 2019 Results can be availed from the official website.

Amity JEE 2019 Counselling Process

  • Commencement: Counselling process will begin just after the Amity JEE 2019 results will be declared.
  • Conducting Authority: The interview will be taken by the panel of eminent personalities of the Amity University.

  • Interview: The candidates will have personal interviews, admissions will be given on the basis of the candidates performance.

  • Seat Allotment: Seats will be purely allocated on the basis of the merit of the candidates.

Candidates can download the admit card from the official website by providing the Application Number and DOB or Password.
