Overview of the Eligibility Criteria for Amity JEE

Age
Between 16 - 23 years.
Qualification
Completed or pursuing 10+2 with 70% aggregate in PCM (65% for reserved categories).

Amity JEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria 

Amity University facilitates a number of B.tech courses to aspiring students and each of these courses has different eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. Candidates can check the Amity JEE 2019 Application Process and apply accordingly.

Some of the common eligibility criteria are listed below :

  • Minimum Qualification: The candidates who have completed their class 10th and are pursuing or have completed class 12th or its equivalent exam from a recognized board/university are eligible to apply for Amity JEE 2019.

  • Mandatory Subjects: The Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class X & class XII are eligible. Also, English should be a compulsory subject in 10+2.

  • Age Limit: The candidate should not be below 16 years of age and should not exceed 23 years of age in order to be eligible to apply for Amity JEE 2019.

  • Reservation:  The candidates who belong to Reserved categories such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), etc., will have 5% relaxation in the qualifying examination aggregate.

  • Ineligible candidates: The Candidates who have compartment will not be eligible to apply for Amity JEE 2019. The conducting authority has all the rights to cancel the candidature of the candidate at any given point of time if found ineligible.

  • Percentage Criteria: The minimum percentage criteria differs for Non-Sponsored & Sponsored categories. Below table gives detailed information about the eligibility.

  • Qualification: The candidates who have passed class 12 examination with science as a subject from a recognized board are eligible for Amity JEE

  • Minimum Marks: The candidate must have minimum 60% in class X & XII with minimum 70% in PCM for Non-sponsored & 65% for Sponsored Category to be eligible for Amity JEE 2018.

All candidates who have passed or appearing in class 12 examination with science as their major from a recognised board are eligible for Amity JEE.

Rejection of AMITY JEE 2017 application

Can a student apply for UG/PG program in absence of 10+2/Graduation final year result?

Yes, a student may apply provisionally for any course but needs to produce all the original mark sheets/ degrees at the time of Registration. 

For a PG Program aspirant, 30th October is the last date for submission of original mark sheet.

I am in my 11th board right now, can I write the Amity JEE examination this year and join the college after my 12th board?

  • No, you cannot do that.
  • The eligibility criteria does not allow you to apply for the examination
  • You can apply for the Amity JEE examination during or after your completion of 12th board examination
