The ePASS scholarship is the Electronic Payment and Application System of Scholarship (ePASS). It is an online portal initiated by Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana.
The objective is to uplift and encourage students belonging to the lower economic sections. The candidates pursuing eligible courses in recognized institutions are eligible to apply for the ePASS scholarship. However, those receiving benefits from other scholarships cannot apply for the ePASS scholarship. The last date to apply for the post-matric TS scholarship is March 31st, 2024 (tentatively).

List of ePASS Scholarships
The State government of India launches the ePASS scholarship portal. Candidates in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Himachal Pradesh can choose various scholarships on their respective state's ePASS portal.
They can apply for scholarships and track their status online through the portal. The government will disburse the ePASS scholarship amount directly to the beneficiary's bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. The list of ePASS scholarships is as follows:

Telangana ePASS Scholarship Portal
The Telangana ePASS scholarship schemes are available to students studying between class IX and postgraduate level and those aspiring to study overseas. The Department of Backward Class Welfare offers the TS ePASS scholarship 2024 exclusively for the residents of Telangana.
Candidates pursuing selected courses and belonging to the SC/ST, BC, EBC, differently-abled welfare, and minority categories can apply for the TS ePASS scholarships. Besides scholarships, the Telangana government offers other ePASS portal services.

Karnataka ePASS Scholarship Portal
The Karnataka ePASS scholarship is also known as KARePASS. It is an online platform launched by the Department of Backward Classes Welfare under the state Government of Karnataka. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply.
The candidates studying class XI and above can check their eligibility and apply to a list of schemes like post-matric scholarships and food accommodation through the KARePASS scholarship portal. The Karnataka ePASS scholarship last date is March 31st, 2024.

Andhra Pradesh ePASS Scholarship Portal
Andhra Pradesh has launched the AP ePASS scholarship portal, now known as Jnanabhumi. Students from Andhra Pradesh who belong to the SC, ST, BC, EBC, Kapu, differently-abled, and minority communities can apply for the AP ePASS scholarships. They can even track the payments of different schemes provided by the Andhra Pradesh government through the Jnanabhumi portal.
Candidates from class V to postdoctoral level and those who want to pursue higher studies overseas can apply for the ePASS scholarships on the Jnanabhumi portal. Besides ePASS scholarships, the state government of Andhra Pradesh also offers other services like skill upgradation, residential schools and colleges, corporate admissions, and many more.

Himachal Pradesh ePASS Scholarship
The Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, has introduced the ePASS scholarship portal to benefit its domiciles. The objective is to encourage deserving students to pursue higher education by allocating the HP ePASS scholarships. The state government awards over 1,40,000 students every year.
Candidates studying in a private or government institute can apply for the Himachal Pradesh ePASS portal scholarships. The government has classified the HP ePASS scholarships into three categories. They are centrally-sponsored schemes, state-sponsored schemes, and technical education schemes.

ePASS Scholarship Status 2024
The portal offers a unique feature where the candidates can track the ePASS scholarship status. The students can track the status of their ePASS scholarship applications and payments on the official portal. In addition, they can renew their scholarships by obtaining an ePASS application form from the portal and tracking the status using the ePASS scholarship renewal process.
The applicants can conduct an ePASS scholarship status check to know the status of their applications. The selected candidates can track the payment positions by providing their bank details and will receive the ePASS scholarship amount through the DBT system.
