The full form of TANATA is the Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture. It is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted by Anna University for admitting candidates in the B.Arch course under Anna University. The seats offered by the university will be under the government and management quota. To qualify for TANATA 2023, the candidates have to clear two papers for the exam.

TANATA 2023 Eligibility

Before appearing for any exam, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria to make sure no problems occur at the time of the examination. The applicants who are applying for the exam should satisfy the minimum TANATA 2023 eligibility criteria set by Anna University, Tamil Nadu. To save time and money, it is advised to check whether the applicant is eligible or not.

The candidate should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate. In addition to that, the candidate should have completed class 12 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

For Diploma Holders

Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+3 in Diploma in any stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects. In addition, a candidate should also have done schooling of at least 10 years with Mathematics as a subject.

TANATA 2023 Application Form

TANATA 2023 Application Form will be available on the official; website. Candidates can fill the TANATA application form via online mode only. Actual registration dates will be updated here after it is declared by the university. Candidates are advised to fill the application form with the correct details as it will be verified later. At the time of verification, if any misinformation is found, then the candidature is cancelled.

How to Apply for TANATA 2023?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for TANATA 2023:

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of Anna University who is conducting the TANATA Exam.
  • Step 2: Upon reaching the home page, the applicant should click on the "Application Form" link.
  • Step 3: The first step is to register for the exam. The applicant must fill in the details such as name, contact number, email address. The applicant will OTP on your registered mobile number that should be entered to complete registration. The applicant will also receive the ID and its password.
  • Step 4: After the registration is done, the applicant can start filling the application form. They have to enter their education details, biodata details and upload the images of their photograph and signature.
  • Step 5: Once the form is filled, the applicant has to submit it.
  • Step 6: After filling out the application form, the applicant is asked to pay the fee. The application form is considered complete only after the payment is done.
  • Step 7: Once the fee has been paid, the form will be considered complete and the applicant can download and print the application form.

TANATA 2023 Application Fee

Candidates must pay the application fee to make their application complete only after which it is considered valid. For general category candidates, the TANATA application fee is INR 2000/- and the candidates who belong to the SC/SCA/ST categories should pay INR 1000/-.

TANATA 2023 Admit Card

TANATA 2023 admit card will be released by the university a few days before the examination. The admit card will be issued online and would not be sent by post to any candidate under any circumstances.

TANATA 2023 Exam Pattern

TANATA exam is a paper-based test. The exam will be conducted in two parts: Paper-I and Paper-II. Total marks of both Paper-I and Paper-II combined is 200 marks. The time allotted for the TANATA exam is three hours (180 minutes). Paper-I is for 120 marks only and Paper-II is for 80 marks.

As this exam is a paper-based test, the candidates should fill the bubbles in the OMR sheet provided to them. There would be only one correct answer to a particular question. If a candidate fills more than one bubble for any question, then that answer is considered as a wrong answer.
