KLEE is the entrance exam for all law colleges in Kerala, including private, government, and self-financed ones, offering 5-year LLB courses, 3-year LLB courses, and LLM courses. The KLEE exam is an online exam for 2 hours with 200 questions for 600 marks.

KLEE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Educational Qualifications

The candidates should meet the following educational qualification as per the KLEE eligibility criteria 2025 if they wish to appear for the exam. The educational qualification conditions for the 3-year and 5-year programs are as follows.

Educational Qualification Requirement for 3-Year LLB

The conditions for the same are as follows.

  • Candidate must be a graduate with a degree from a recognized university approved by the UGC.
  • For general students, the minimum graduation mark should be 45%. For economically disadvantaged students, 42% and for SC/ST students, it is 40%.

Educational Qualification Requirement for 5-Year LLB

The conditions for the 5-year LLB program as per the KLEE eligibility criteria 2025 are as follows.

  • Candidate must be a graduate with a degree from a recognized university approved by the UGC as per the KLEE eligibility criteria 2025.
  • Candidates must have qualified class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate and 42% for SEBC and 40% for SC/ ST.

KLEE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Age Limit

As per the KLEE eligibility criteria 2025, any candidate who wishes to appear for the KLEE exam, must be of 21 years of age.

Candidates must meet this age limit set by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala in the KLEE eligibility criteria 2025 for both the 3-year LLB program as well as the 5-year LLB program.

There is no age limit related to the Date of Birth of the candidate as per the KLEE eligibility criteria 2025. In addition, there is also no age limit set for when the candidate acquired their higher secondary or undergraduate degree as per the KLEE eligibility criteria 2025.

Candidates must meet the 21 years age limit set by the KLEE eligibility criteria 2025 for them to be eligible for the KLEE exam 2025.

KLEE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Domicile Requirements

KLEE is a state-specific law exam exclusive to Kerela due to which it gives preference to those candidates that belong to the state of Kerela. However, any candidate who is a citizen of India can apply for the KLEE exam as per the KLEE eligibility criteria 2025.

The KLEE application form 2025 will be available on the official website of the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala from Jul 2025.
