Steps Involved in Registering for ISM EE 2023 Counseling
The following steps must be followed in order to register for ISM EE 2023 Exam.

Step 1: All the GATE 2023 or ISM EE 2023 qualified candidates are required to register with the IIT Dhanbad counselling portal.

Step 2: The candidate will receive a unique registration number and password which is used to log in after the registration is completed.

Step 3: Candidates must pay the non-refundable fee for ISM EE 2023 Counselling after registration.

Step 4: The candidate needs to upload all the specified documents which are mentioned in the counselling process.

Step 5: Fill in the choice for the preference of courses in the order of preference.

Step 6: The Seat Allotment will be announced on the basis of the GATE 2023 Result/ ISM EE 2023 Merit list and the options filled by the candidates.

Step 7: Candidates must check their allotment and complete their admission formalities by the specified dates.
Documents to be uploaded for online ISM EE 2023 Counselling
The following documents are required to be uploaded for ISM EE 2023 Counselling process:

Secondary/ Matriculation/ High School (10th level) Certificate (for proof of date of birth).

Higher Secondary/ Intermediate (12th level) Marks-Sheet (for checking the subjects).

Qualifying Degree Marks-Sheet of the final semester/ final year (7th semester/ pre-final year marks-sheet for the ‘appearing candidates’ whose final semester/ final year results are pending.

The candidate is required to upload a certificate from the Principal/ Registrar/ Head of the Institute indicating that the student has appeared in the final semester/ final year exam of the qualifying degree and whose result is pending).

Uploading of “certificate for the degree of equivalence” (if applicable).

Valid GATE scorecard as indicated on the application form (for GATE candidates).

Caste certificate to avail seat reservation under SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) category. (The OBC (NCL) certificate as per Annexure-II and issued on or after September 2023). Relevant certificate by the candidates who seek reservation in any sub-category (PWD/ DP/ JK/ PS).

Medical fitness certificate.

Endorsement certificate from the present employer (for sponsored candidates).

3-year experience certificate for candidates of M. Tech. in Mining Engineering / Opencast Mining.
