The Common Entrance Examination For Design conducted by the prestigious Indian Institute Of Technology, Bombay, and the Industrial Design Centre is a joint entrance examination for post-graduate degree in the critical field of design technology. CEED 2021 will be conducted at all national branches of the Indian Institutes of Technology and at the Indian Institute of Science.

CEED 2021 Age Limit
There is no age limit for candidates who wish to appear for the examination. CEED 2021 eligibility is solely based on educational qualifications. This is to provide anyone who wishes to pursue post graduation studies in design technology and to enroll into colleges that are affiliated with the same.
CEED 2021 Educational Qualification
Candidates who have a knack for design and an understanding of design technology can apply for CEED 2021 only if they possess any one of the following educational qualifications that are required. This is because CEED 2021 will allow candidates to enroll into institutions for postgraduate studies which need an undergraduate degree or diploma in the same.The following are the qualifications that need to be met for CEED 2021.
- Candidates who have passed their UG degree/diploma/PG degree after 10+2 with a minimum of 3 years. OR
- Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of UG/Diploma/PG examination by July 2020.
- Candidates who have passed the GD Arts Diploma programme at 10+5 level by July 2020.
Candidates who aspire to take up a career in design technology but have completed an undergraduate degree or a diploma in a different stream are still eligible to attempt the CEED 2021 exam provided they complete the on-going course within the time period before the commencement of the examination.

Similarly, the CEED 2021 eligibility does not specify different streams of subjects. Candidates who have taken up an undergraduate degree or a diploma course in any discipline apart from design technology or its variations are also eligible to apply provided they have completed the previous course within the given date before CEED 2021 application begins.
CEED Eligibility Criteria For OBC and SC/ST 2021
Students from all disciplines of subjects are allowed to apply for this examination. Candidates must look at the percentage of seats that are available for a particular caste category. This depends on the availability of seats in particular colleges that are affiliated. This is to ensure that candidates from different groups are given the same opportunity to attempt CEED 2021. CEED aspirants have ample time to prepare for the upcoming examinations as the results of CEED 2021 will be announced on March 8,2021 after which will be the commencement of the CEED counselling for candidates who have cleared CEED 2021.
