CEED Exam Centres 2024: Test Cities List and Locations

CEED exam centres 2024 are where the candidates take the examination. Candidates aspiring to write CEED 2024 exam must pick a city or a centre from the list provided by the conducting body, IIT Bombay, during registration. Candidates will be given the option of choosing three centres and must do so, keeping in mind which of the cities are accessible to them.

Once the cities and centres are selected, and the candidate submits the application form, the Board does not entertain any changes to be made. This makes the registration an invalid one. Hence students are asked to be extra careful while selecting the CEED exam centres 2024. All the details of the CEED 2024 exam centres are outlined below.

CEED Exam Centres 2024

IIT Bombay Board decides CEED 2024 exam centres. Each city will have multiple exam centres to seat a large number of applicants. Candidates may choose their appropriate exam centres based on their personal preferences and feasibility at the time of filling out the application form. Candidates must make their own arrangements to arrive at the cities and CEED 2024 exam centres on time.

Allotment of CEED 2024 Exam Centres

At the time of online application, the applicants can choose three cities in order of preference for CEED 2024 exam centres. Once the application is submitted, the request for the change of city will NOT be entertained under any circumstances. In the application, if the number of total candidates appearing for the exam from a particular centre is insufficient, the city may be dropped from the final list of CEED 2024 centres and the candidates will be allotted to a city of their second or third preference.

Note: The committee may add a new city or remove an existing one to assign a city that is not among the candidate’s choices.

CEED Exam Day 2024 Instructions

A set of dos and Don'ts are to be followed when one arrives to write the examination. Failure of this will result in the nullification of the candidate’s application and test score. The candidate will not be allowed to write the test or finish it. Care must be taken to see that this does not happen. Following is the set of CEED 2024 Instructions.

• Candidates must bring their admit cards along with an original photo identity proof for verification.
• The digital or photocopy of Identity proof will not be accepted. 
• Candidates must reach the exam centre 30 minutes prior to the exam.
• No material that the Board and exam centre do not approve will not be allowed into the exam hall. Such as geometry boxes, study guides, notes, or any electronic device, including smartwatches and mobile phones. 
• If there is a mismatch between the admit card and the details on the identity proof, The exam centre officials have the authority to stop the entry of a candidate or take them aside for questioning. Once resolved, the candidates will not get extra time to write the exam. To avoid this, Students must arrive at the exam centre well before the commencement of the exam.

CEED 2024 Admit Card

IIT Bombay will distribute their online CEED 2024 admit cards for the eligible candidates. By entering their registered email address and password in the login window, students can get their CEED admit card for 2024. Students must bring a valid identification card and their CEED admit card to the exam centers.

No applicant will be permitted to enter the exam room while carrying their admission card. The candidate's name, roll number, exam locations, reporting times, exam rules, etc. will be listed on the CEED 2024 admit card.

CEED Exam Day Guidelines 2024

Candidates giving CEED 2024 are advised to go through the exam day instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully. Candidates are advised on the items and documents that they can carry inside the examination hall below. 

What to Carry on CEED Exam Day?

Candidates must bring stationery to the exam location, including pencils, sketch pens, poster colours, and other drawing supplies, as part B of the CEED is a subjective test. In addition, candidates must make sure they bring the documentation listed below to the CEED exam centre.

Candidates must provide a coloured printout of their CEED admit card to CEED exam centre. To capture candidates' biometric data at the centre, CEED admit card is required.

ID Proof: Candidates must bring a current, original photo ID with them to their CEED exam centre. The identity card issued by the college, the passport, the driver's licence, the PAN card, the voter identification card, or the Aadhaar card may be used as identification proof.

Stationary: Candidates must carry their own stationary items such as pens, pencils, sketch pens and colours.

What not to carry on CEED Exam Day?

Candidates are not permitted to bring any electronic devices into the exam room, including a cell phone, calculator, or digital/smartwatch. According to the official website, using any electronic device during the exam could result in a candidate's disqualification. Additionally, candidates are not permitted to carry any drawing sheets.
