The BLAT 2021 result will be declared on their official website. Candidates must use their BLAT login Id and password that was given at the time of registration and access their scorecard. accessing information of results is provided below. 

BLAT 2021 Result will be published by the Banaras Hindu University on the official website. Banaras Hindu University is responsible for releasing the merit list for this examination on the basis of the candidate’s performance which includes the rank and marks secured.

In such a competitive examination, there is always a possibility that two students might score equal marks and rank for which need to follow some tiebreaker rules. Cut-off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate needs to score in order to get through the examination and to be considered for further counselling.

How to check BLAT 2021 Result?

  • Log in to the official site of BHU
  • Tap on the result tab.
  • Choose undergraduate or postgraduate applicants
  • Enter all the credentials (Name, Registration Number/ Roll Number, Date of Birth).
  • Click submit.
  • The result will be displayed on the screen, the candidate can download and take a printout for future reference.

BLAT 2021 Tie Breaker

Candidates who have secured higher marks in the BHU Law entrance examination will be ranked higher. However, candidates having a postgraduate degree in a discipline course will be ranked on the basis of their respective marks in the graduation degree. In case candidates have similar marks in graduation and in the qualifying examination then preference will be given to the candidate who has secured more marks in the relevant subject.

In case if still, the tie doesn’t break, candidates who secure higher marks in Mathematics will be preferred. If still tie continues, then higher marks secured by the student at 10+2 qualifying examination will be given preference. Moreover, students who have Mathematics as a subject will be preferred over the other one.

If a tie in marks still continues amongst the candidates, then the elder one will be taken into consideration.

BLAT Cut Off

Cut off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate needs to score in order to get through the examination and to be considered for further counselling. The authority conducting the examination will be releasing the cut off list for both postgraduate applicants as well as undergraduate applicants, along with the results.

There are various factors on which the cut-off list depends:

  • Availability of the seats
  • Previous year cut-off
  • Number of students appearing for the examination
  • Difficulty level
