UP NEET Counselling 2025 schedule has been announced on the official website. The UP NEET UG Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on Sep 24, 2025. Students must complete their admission process on Sep 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, and Oct 3, 2025.

The round 2 counselling 2025 online registration and document upload took place from Sep 10, 2025, to Sep 18, 2025. The merit list was announced on Sep 19, 2025. Choice filling took place from Sep 19, 2025, to Sep 23, 2025.

UP NEET Counselling 2025 Overview

UP NEET Counselling 2025 is conducted for candidates who have appeared for the NEET UG examination across test centres in Uttar Pradesh. The following are the details of UP NEET UG counselling 2025.

• Candidates who want to participate in the counselling process should register themselves on the official website for UP NEET: upneet.gov.in
• UP NEET Counselling 2025 is of 3 rounds; namely the first round, the second round, and the mop-up round.
• Before the counselling process starts, the candidates must verify their documents.
• The UP NEET registration date is kept open for 3-4 days before the start of the counselling round.
• The seats left vacant in the first round will be filled in the second round if there are any seats left. In top-ranking colleges, the latter tends to be the case.
• The 'mop round' is where candidates are asked to visit the college to choose their seats personally. Seats for the students are selected based on availability.
• The mop-up round NEET-UG 2025 dates are released once the first two rounds are conducted. The final 'stray round' is conducted by colleges whose seats the candidates would have already chosen.
• The candidates must visit their chosen college and bring the required documents along with a Demand Draft for fee payments and make the necessary security deposits.
• Candidates must be aware that the amount is non-refundable if their admission is cancelled.

UP NEET UG Counselling 2025 Process

The UP NEET Counselling 2025 process starts with the registration for the rounds. Only those students who obtain the NEET cutoff are eligible for the counselling round. Next, candidates are expected to pay the security money and advance to the document verification round. All the detailed steps are as follows:

Registration for UP NEET UG Counselling

• Candidates must register themselves once candidates receive their results of NEET UG which would be available on the official website
• Even though there are 4 rounds of UP NEET Counselling 2025, candidates may register for the counselling only once. 
• Candidates do not have to repeat the same process if candidates move on to the next round of counselling.
• The registration fee is INR 2,000, which is payable online via Net Banking or Debit / Credit Card.

Security Deposit

After completing the UP NEET Counselling 2025 registration process, candidates must pay a refundable deposit via a Demand Draft. The deposit should be in favour of “Director General, Medical Education & Training, U.P” payable at Lucknow. The deposit differs among the candidates based on the choice of college- Government or private- or the choice of course; medical or dental course.

Documents Verification

Candidates must now verify the documents at their respective UP NEET Counselling 2025 centre where they have been allotted a seat. If candidates don’t arrive at the stipulated time, the seat would be given to another candidate.

Choose a Preference

With the main UP NEET Counselling 2025 procedure completed, the last step that remains is the choice of college. The steps are as follows:

1. Candidates will have to log in to upneet.gov.in
2. With the registration number and password, candidates may log in to the UG NEET 2025 page.
3. Candidates may choose from the list of colleges given in their order of preference.
4. Candidates must be careful when choosing the college, as the wrong choice might not be a strong base for candidates desired career.
5. Choices should be submitted before the deadline given. 
6. If candidates fail to submit before the deadline, they will not be selected for the counselling process.
7. Once candidates submit their choices, the authority gathers all the UP NEET Counselling 2025 applications of all the candidates and makes a seat allotment and merit list.
8. Candidates should check in with the colleges where their seats have been allotted and bring the required documents for admission to the college.

UP NEET UG Counselling 2025 Eligibility

Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before registering for the UP NEET UG Counselling process. If the criteria are not met, the application will be considered void. The eligibility criteria for the UP NEET Counselling 2025 are as follows:

• Candidates must pass the qualifying UP NEET examination with an aggregate of 50% marks (40% marks for the reserved category) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as mandatory subjects.
• Candidates must be at least 17 years old and a maximum of 25 years old as of December 31, 2025. For reserved category candidates, there is an age relaxation of 5 years.
• The seats of the government colleges are reserved for the residents of Uttar Pradesh while the seats for the private colleges are available for any candidate who has satisfied the above conditions mentioned.
