Dr Ram Mahohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, [DRRMLIMS] is established by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2006. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital is a super speciality autonomous medical teaching institute. The Hospital is located in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The Institute is affiliated to King George's Medical University, Lucknow India.

Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute Admission can be done on degrees in DM, MCh, MD, MS and PhD. RMLIMS is a super speciality medical institute which provides PG medical education and research as guiding force. The Institute also provides Paramedical diploma programs.

The Research cell is located in the Administrative block of the Institution. The main aim of the Research cell is to conduct research methodology courses, organise workshops, a conference on Research methods and related issues. It provides Biostatistical support for faculty and postgraduates. It initiates MOU with the existing medical and research laboratories of national repute in the city and the

Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital Lucknow provides various infrastructure facilities for its students. The Hospital has the best academic facilities which include the lecture rooms, Demo rooms, Common rooms, Labs and the Auditorium. The Lecture rooms are available in the Admin block of the Institute and the Demo rooms are available both in the admin block and in the hospital building.

RMLIMS has a well equipped fully air-conditioned library which operates in a fully automated environment. It has a large and contemporary collection of books, journals and electronic database search capability. The Library has more than 5000 books and a seating capacity of 50. Library provides a computer lab equipped with 17 computers. A Membership is confined for the faculty members, Paramedical staff and senior residents.

Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences Admission Procedure:

The Institution's Admission can be done online by downloading the application form from the official website and will be guided as per the U.P Government rules. For the post-graduation degree courses in the institute, admission is done through the NEET PG entrance exam.

A PhD Entrance Test in English medium will be conducted by the KGMU through the Office of Controller of Examination for the eligible PhD applicants. Entrance Test will be a written aptitude test in logical thinking, human biology, general awareness, research aptitude and basic computer knowledge. The qualifying Marks will be 55 per cent for general category and 50 percentage for the SC/ST/OBC candidates. After the Entrance test, the qualified candidates will be called for the Interview. The candidates who have been selected by Departmental Interview Committee are provisionally registered to the course and can pay a requisite fee.

The Institute provides infrastructure facilities which include the hostel accommodation.
