State Government Open Merit Maharashtra Scholarship 

The State government provides merit Maharashtra scholarship forms for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in science, commerce, art or law courses. The Department of Higher and Technical Education under the Maharashtra government provides the scholarship. However, this scheme is exclusively available to the domiciles or permanent residents of Maharashtra.

Ekalavya scholarship applies to the permanent residents of Maharashtra. They should hold an undergraduate degree in commerce, science, arts or law. Students with a degree in commerce, law and arts should have secured at least 60% marks. However, those with a degree in science should have scored a minimum of 70% marks. The annual family income should not exceed INR 75,000 per annum. The applicants should not have a part-time or full-time job. Foreign Education Scholarship for SC Students in Maharashtra 

The State government's social justice and special assistance department provide foreign education scholarship for SC students in Maharashtra. The state-funded scholarship offers financial support to SC students aspiring to pursue higher education overseas. However, the scholars should refund the expenses incurred by the government if they discontinue their course.

The Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj scholarship is provided by the Department of Technical Education (DTE). However, the candidates should be pursuing a degree through the Centralised Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The candidates should not be receiving any scholarship or stipend. Only two children from a family can receive the benefits of this Maharashtra scholarship. The family income should not exceed INR 8,00,000 per annum. The applicants should have at least 50% attendance in the previous semester, except for the students in the first semester. They should not have a gap of two or more years while pursuing the course.

The Minority development department under the Maharashtra scholarship provides scholarships for minorities. The applicants family income should not exceed INR 8,00,000 per annum. The candidates should have enrolled in the course through the CET, competitive exams or based on the HSC marks. The government reserves 30% of the minority scholarship Maharashtra for girls. The minority scholarship Maharashtra also applies to students studying outside Maharashtra. However, they should be domiciled or residing in Maharashtra for 15 years.

The Government launched the Maharashtra Chief Minister Fellowship (CMF) program to recruit young and dynamic graduates for administration. The duration of the CMF program is eleven months. The selected fellows will receive INR 45,000 as monthly remuneration.

The CMF position will be equivalent to a Grade A officer position in government service. They will receive INR 45,000 for travel and other expenses. The candidates are eligible for ten days of paid leaves. They will receive accident insurance during the fellowship. The fellows will receive a certificate after the completion of the fellowship. However, the government will not provide accomodation to the fellows.

Maintenance Allowance for SC Students Studying Professional Courses 

The Maharashtra government offers maintenance allowance to SC students pursuing professional courses and residing in hostels attached to colleges. For Students Staying in Government Hostels Students pursuing a course less than two years will receive INR 500 per month. Students pursuing a course between 2 to 3 years will receive INR 500 per month. Those pursuing a course between 4 to 5 years will receive INR 700 per month. Eligible Students for Government Hostels (but Not Staying in a Government Hostel) Students pursuing a course less than two years will receive INR 500 per month. Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna 

The Director of Higher Education (DHE) under the Maharashtra state government provides Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh vasatigruh nirvah Bhatta yojna. The candidates who are children of registered labourers and have enrolled in technical, non-technical or professional undergraduate or postgraduate courses can apply to this Maharashtra scholarship 2023 scheme. The scholars will receive up to INR 30,000 per annum for their education.

For Children of Registered Labour/ Alpabhudharak Students studying in an institute at MMRDA, PMRDA, Aurangabad city, Nagpur city will receive INR 30,000 per annum (10 months). Those studying in institutes other than MMRDA, PMRDA, Aurangabad city, Nagpur city will receive INR 20,000 per annum (10 months). If the Family Income is Below INR 1,00,000 or Between INR 1,00,000 to INR 8,00,000 Students studying in an institute at MMRDA, PMRDA, Aurangabad city, Nagpur city will receive INR 10,000 per annum (10 months).
