Post Matric Scholarship-ST Students

Post-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

The Post-matric scholarship for students with disabilities is a scholarship scheme offered to differently-abled students by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability (DEPD).

• The applicants must provide a disability certificate, which signifies at least 40% of their disability.

The Post-matric scholarship scheme for minorities is offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA) for students belonging to the minority community. The details regarding the scholarship are given below.

• Students in class 11 to the PhD level and who are economically underprivileged can apply for this scholarship. 
• In order to avail of benefits from the Post-Matric Scholarship scheme for minorities, the family's annual income should not surpass INR 2,00,000 per annum.

• The ultimate aim is to provide financial support to the wards of the Beedi/ Cine/ IOMC/ LSDM/ Contract/ Ghar Khata workers of the region.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship

The Swami Vivekananda scholarship is a scholarship opportunity provided by the Minorities Development and Finance Corporation of West Bengal to academically exceptional students aspiring to pursue higher education and provides monetary assistance to credible candidates. 

• Students in class 11 and above can apply for this scholarship scheme.

WBMDFC Scholarship

The West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation provides financial aid to empower students who are from the weaker section of society. 

• The primary goal of the scholarship is to facilitate educational opportunities for the students pursuing their studies in class 1 to a Ph.D. degree. 
• However, the students applying for the scholarship exam for class 11 should have an annual family income of up to INR 2,50,000. 
• The deserving applicants will be rewarded with a scholarship amount of INR 22,000.

National Scholarship Exam

The National Scholarship exam is conducted by the National Institute of Career Education (NICE) and provides monetary benefits to students in school or college.

• Candidates in class 5 to the undergraduate level can register for the scholarship.
