UPCATET Counselling Process 2023

The procedure for UPCATET Counselling process 2023 has been listed below: 

Step 1: Registration

• Go to the official website and go to the UPCATET Seat Allotment 2023 link.
• Candidates must register by entering their registered mobile number, email ID and date of birth.
• Upload the required documents, marks sheets, and certificates stated on the website.

Step 2: Choice filling and Locking

• Candidates must select from the list of colleges on the website and submit their preferred choices.
• There is no provision to alter the choices.
• To register for UPCATET counselling, the candidates must pay Rs 500 online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Step 3: Seat Allotment and Security Fee Deposit

• Candidates must pay a security fee of Rs 5000.
• Candidates must take out a printout of the merit list for future reference.

Step 4: Reporting To the University

Qualifying candidates must report to their allocated centre with all the documents mentioned in the UPCATET Seat Allotment 2023 letter. Candidates who fail to produce the required original documents will have their admission cancelled.

What After UPCATET Seat Allotment 2023?

The ranking of candidates and choices will be considered when allocating seats for UPCATET 2023. The UPCATET 2023 result was posted online on the following allotment. The procedure to be followed after the seat allotment results are announced is as follows:

• The candidates must pay a security fee deposit of INR 5000/- for their allotted seat.
• Candidates must download their seat allotment letter after paying security deposit fees.
• The students will be informed of the date, time and venue for the UPCATET 2023 seat allotment and counselling.
• The candidates must visit the allotted institute further to submit their documents for verification and complete the remaining admission formalities.
• Upon admission, candidates who received seats through the first round of seat allocation can sign up for the subsequent round of online counselling. 
• The third round of UG/PG and the second round of PhD course counselling will take place offline. 
• For offline counselling, aspirants must get the seat allotment letter from the official website and submit the counselling money. 
• If the candidates upgrade their seats, the security fee paid for the previous seat will be adjusted for the new seat. The security fee will not be refunded if the candidate rejects the seat.
• 50% of the fee for the prior seat will be reimbursed if a candidate accepts a paid seat in the first round of counselling but receives a free seat in the second round.
• Only one chance will be given to the candidates for upgradation.
• However, there will be no provision to change from one course to another.
• No candidate below the rank of the previously allotted candidate will be provided with a paid seat for free.
• If a candidate leaves the course once after admission and the seat gets filled by the other candidate, then the leaving candidate will be refunded the registration fee, seat booking fee and admission fee. 
• The caution money will be refunded if any other candidate does not fill the seat.
