UCEED Registration Process

UCEED Registration Step 1- Filling Out The Application Form

• To fill out the UCEED form, you need to first visit the official website and create your login credentials. UCEED registration ID is created once you provide your name, mobile number, date of birth, and email ID.
• As and when you provide these details, you will receive an email from IIT Bombay on your registered email ID, which will contain your application number and password. The exact details will also be sent to your registered mobile number. You can also check your UCEED application status with these credentials.
• Fill in the Personal Details: Once you have successfully created your registration ID, you need to visit the official website again, log in with your application number and password, and fill in the following details in each field. The details that need to be provided are listed below.

  • Your Address 
  • Birth Category 
  • Gender
  • Nationality 
  • Alternate Email ID
  • Alternate Mobile Number

• Provide Information Regarding Educational Qualification: You must also provide information regarding your educational qualifications. The details that need to be provided are listed below. 
  • Year of passing/appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination

  • Name of School/ College
  • State
  • City/ Town
  • Address of School/ College

• Selection of Test Centres: You need to select three test city choices where you want to appear for the UCEED exam 2026. You need to mention your first, second, and third preference for UCEED exam centres. Once the application form is submitted, no request for a change in the test city is entertained.

UCEED Registration Step 2- Uploading Documents

• The UCEED documents required along with their UCEED application 2026 form are listed below. You must follow the UCEED photo size guidelines 2026 as mentioned in the notification.

UCEED Retrieving Forgotten Enrollment ID or Password

In case you have forgotten your UCEED enrollment ID or password, you can check your declaration form. The declaration form contains all the details concerning the application ID and password. Or else, you can also check your registered mail ID or mobile number. The conducting authority sends the login credentials to them as well.

UCEED Registration- List Of Key Documents

Below is a list of certificates and other documents to be uploaded at the time of online registration for UCEED exam. The certificates must be in the Central Government format as in the appendices below.

• A recent colour photograph of a full frontal (face) view, with the head centred in the frame covering 70–80% of the photograph and taken within the last six months. The photograph should be such that it allows unambiguous identification of the candidate (only JPEG image formats with file extension .jpg will be accepted)
• A scanned copy of your full signature on white paper (only JPEG image formats with file extension .jpg will be accepted)
• Qualifying examination certificate, if appeared in 2020 (only PDF formats with file extension .pdf will be accepted)
• For the ones appearing in 2026 for the board exam, a certificate from the school/college principal in the given format should be uploaded (only PDF formats with file extension .pdf will be accepted). If the name is not the same as in the Class XII certificate, a gazette notification showing the change of name (only PDF formats with file extension .pdf) will be accepted. How to Fill UCEED B.Des Application Form at Participating Institutes?

As part of the UCEED admission process 2026, you must also fill out the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) application form of the participating institute. The ones who pass the UCEED entrance exam 2026, must follow the requirements outlined below to get admission to one of the four participating colleges.

• Step 1: Check eligibility criteria for admission as per the candidate's category.
• Step 2: Check the seat matrix of the participating college.

B.Des Application Form Fee

UCEED Registration Form Correction Fees

You are advised to be very focused while filling out the application form, as there is no provision for UCEED form correction 2026. The commission charges INR 1800 for National candidates and the amount shall not be returned in case the form is rejected. There is no application edit window provision as well. Thus, make sure to re-check the details filled in order to avoid any last-minute debarment.

What After UCEED Application Form?

Once the UCEED application forms are filled, you are advised to check your approval or rejection status. There is no further step to be followed after the form filling. The commission has already announced the UCEED Exam Dates 2026 and thus you can start your preparation.
