About SMVDUEE 

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Engineering Entrance [SMVDUEE] is the university-level entrance exam that Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University conducts for admission into the engineering programme offered in the University. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is the conducting body of SMVDUEE. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Engineering Entrance [SMVDUEE] is a University level exam. The conducting body has not announced the schedule for the exam. Through SMVDUEE, University offers admission into various Engineering branches.

SMVDUEE 2023 Important Dates (Tentative)

Applicants are advised to go through the SMVDUEE important dates carefully to avoid unnecessary mistakes during the admission process. Application Form will be available on the official website of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University once the official release date is announced. SMVDUEE 2023 will be conducted offline i.e. Pen & Paper-based Test (PBT). SMVDUEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should carefully go through the SMVDUEE Eligibility Criteria determined by the official authorities before attempting the application form. Candidates who qualify for the eligibility conditions will be allowed to move forward in the admission process. The pre-defined eligibility criteria for SMVDUEE is mentioned below:

• Education: Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 or 2018. Those appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2023 are eligible to appear in SMVDUEE 2023.
• Age Limit: There is an upper age limit of 25 years, and Incase of disabilities (PWD), there is a relaxation of 5 years.
• Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/ qualifying examination to be eligible for writing SMVDUEE 2023; If candidates have studied four subjects, candidates are not permitted to write SMVDUEE 2023.

SMVDUEE 2023 Application Form

SMBDUEE 2023 Application Form will be available on the official website. Before filling up, the application form, candidates should have a scanned image of their photograph, signature and father’s/mother’s/guardian’s signature. These scanned images are to be uploaded during the submission of the application form.

• Registration Fee: candidates will have to pay the registration fee while filling out the Application Form of INR 1100.
• Payment Mode: candidates will have to pay the Application Fee online through Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.

In case of any enquiry/ Issues, the Help Desk will be functional on all working days from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM for general facilitation.

SMVDUEE 2023 Exam Centres

SMVDUEE 2023 is conducted in 22 major cities throughout the country. Therefore, applicants will have to mention 4 cities of their choice while filling out the Online application form. Requests for change of Test Centre opted in the Application Form will not be considered under any circumstances.

SMVDUEE 2023 Admit Card

SMVDUEE 2023 Admit Card will be available on the official website. The SMVDUEE Admit Card is a very crucial document that the candidate has to keep in his/her possession throughout the admission process. SMVDUEE 2023 Admit Card will be available on the official website once the release date is announced. Applicants must carry anyone government id proof such as Voter Id, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport along with the Admit Card to the exam centre. Applicants are advised to check the issued Admit Card carefully for the Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Test Centre Name, City, and PwD Category (if applicable). In case of any discrepancy, communicate to SMVDUEE 2023 Secretariat immediately for necessary action. Candidates claiming the relaxation under the PwD category must carry a copy of the PwD certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority.

Steps to download SMVDUEE Admit Card

Applicants are advised to go through the process of accessing the SMVDUEE admit card from the official website carefully. Steps to download the SMVDUEE admit card are mentioned below:

• Visit the Official Website.
• Check for the admit card download link and click on it.
• Enter login credentials.
• Admit cards will be displayed, downloaded, and taken to the printout.

Note: The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the examination.

SMVDUEE 2023 Exam Pattern

SMVDUEE 2023 exam pattern is determined by the official authorities responsible for organizing the exam. Therefore, applicants should go through the SMVDUEE exam pattern before attempting the exam to get familiarized with the structuring and design of the question paper. 

• Mode: SMVDUEE 2023 will be conducted offline, i.e. Pen & Paper-based Test (PBT) on #from_date.
• Question Type: The question paper will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
• Topics: SMVDUEE 2023 comprise the topic from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
• Duration: The time given to complete the examination will be 120 minutes; one hour of compensatory (extra) time will also be allowed to the candidates with 40% or more disability
• Medium: The question paper will be in English.
• Marking Scheme: Each question is allotted 4 (four) marks for the correct response; no marks will be awarded if no response is indicated for a question.

Instructions for SMVDUEE 2023

• Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, etc., are not permitted in SMVDUEE 2023.
• Materials like a log table, book, notebook, etc., should NOT be brought into the examination hall.
• Only the visually challenged candidates, who have 40% or more disability, will be provided Scribe/ Reader at the candidate's request.
• In no case, the candidates will be allowed to bring their scribe.
• You should verify the serial number and series of the Test Booklet with the serial number and series of OMR sheets.
• In case of any variation, the Test Booklet and OMR sheet should be immediately returned to the invigilator for replacement with another set.

SMVDUEE 2023 result will be announced on the official website after the exam has been conducted. The result is given out by the official authorities responsible for organizing the SMVDUEE 2023. Candidates have to download Rank Card from the official website once the release date has been announced.
