SITEEE 2024: Application Form (Till Apr 12), Eligibility, Syllabus

SITEEE 2024 application form is availbale on the official website at set-test.org. The last date to register and pay the application fee is till Apr 12, 2024. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. 

SITEEE admit card 2024 for test 1 and 2 will be released for the registered candidates on Apr 25 and Apr 30, 2024, respectively. As per the schedule SITEEE 2024 exam for test 1 will be conducted on May 5, 2024, while test 2 exam will be held on May 11, 2024.

SITEEE Application Form 2024

SITEEE Application Form 2024 was released on Dec 13, 2023, and the last date to apply for the exam was Apr 12, 2024. Interested candidates can find the application form on the official website. Candidates are also advised to check their eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. 

• Registration Date: The application form was available online for SITEEE 2024 from Dec 16, 2022.
• Registration Fee: Candidates must pay the SITEEE 2024 registration fee while filling out the application form. The candidates will have to pay an amount of INR 2000 as the application fee.
• Payment Mode: Candidates can make an online payment/offline Payment. If an applicant is making an Online Payment, then they can make the payment through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Cash Card.
  • If aspirants are paying through offline mode then they have to draw a Demand Draft from the Nationalized Bank, in favour of the “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
  • A printout of the payment receipt has to be taken out and the demand draft details have to be written and sent along with the demand draft to the following address:

SITEEE Important Dates 2024

SITEEE 2024 exam for tests 1 and 2 will be conducted on May 5 and May 11, 2024, respectively. The below table can be helpful for the candidates to know about the SITEEE 2024 revised important dates.

SITEEE is a University Level Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by Symbiosis deemed-University for admission into Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune, to get admission into the various undergraduate engineering branches.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) offers a Bachelor of Engineering programme in the branches like Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.

SITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2024

SITEEE eligibility criteria 2024 is designed by the Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune. Candidates must make sure to fulfil all the eligibility criteria for SITEEE 2024 before proceeding to the SITEEE Application Form 2024. Applicants must go through the SITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2024 listed below for appearing in the entrance exam.

• Aspirants who want to appear for SITEEE 2024 are required to pass a 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with the minimum qualifying marks.
• Mathematics and Physics must be the two compulsory subjects in 10+2, with one of the following as the optional subject: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.
• Candidates belonging to the General category are required to score at least 45% aggregate in the qualifying examination, while the candidates who belong to any of the reserved categories are required to score at least 40%.
• The domestic candidates will have to appear in one of the following examinations to get admission into the Symbiosis Institute of Technology:
  • JEE Main 2024
  • MHT CET 2024
  • SITEEE 2024
• Reservation Policy- As per the UGC guideline 2006, the reservation policy for all the institutes under the University is as follows.
  • Within Sanctioned Intake -
    1. Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%
    2. Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
    3. Differently Abled : 3%
    4. Children/wards of Defence Personnel: 5 % for SLS-Pune, SICSR.
  • Over & Above Intake
    1. Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandits/ Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmiri Valley: 2 seats per programme
    2. International Candidates: 15%

SITEEE Admit Card 2024

SITEEE admit card 2024 will be released by the conducting authority online on the scheduled date. Test 1 and 2 admit cards will be issued on Apr 25, 2024, and Apr 30, 2024, respectively. The candidates have to download the admit card online from the official website and take the printout of the same.

Applicants need to take note that no SITEEE Admit Card 2024 will be sent directly through the post.

Steps to Download the SITEE 2024 Admit Card

• Step 1: Visit the official website of SITEEE 2024 - set-test.org.
• Step 2: Click on the SITEEE admit card 2024 Login Tab
• Step 3: On the login page, enter your login credentials
• Step 4: After entering the above details, your admit card will be displayed
• Step 5: Download and take a printout of the admit card for further admission process

SITEEE Exam Pattern 2024

The conducting authority decides the exam pattern for SITEEE 2024. There is no negative marking, all the sections are mandatory. The exam duration will be 90 minutes.

SITEEE Syllabus 2024

The SITEEE syllabus 2024 will be based on the Class XII level syllabus of the main subjects in the science stream - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Although, the exam authority of Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) does not release the SITEEE syllabus officially. However, like any other engineering entrance exam, the syllabus of SITEEE will also comprise all the important topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

SITEEE Exam Day Instructions 2024

A few of the basic instructions to be followed during the test are mentioned below.

• Candidate should be seated in front of the desktop or Laptop, facing the screen and webcam throughout the entire duration of the test.
• Candidate should be seated in a way that there is enough light to capture his/her face clearly.
• Candidate should be in formal or smart casuals while taking the test.
• No one else should be present in the surroundings other than the candidate during the test.
• A mobile phone with the primary number that is fed at the time of registration should be lying next to the candidate. It will be used for communicating with the candidate if needed. No other electronic device will be permitted
• Candidate needs to fulfil all IT infrastructure requirements to undertake the test.
• Candidate CANNOT open any other application window during the test and if anybody is caught doing so, it will be considered as a violation.
• Candidates must keep in mind that their images and videos will be recorded and supervised in near real-time by AI as well as a Human proctor. Therefore, it is strictly advised that the candidate does not leave the seat during the test. Such behaviour will be immediately recorded as a violation.
• No bio breaks are permitted during the test.
• The candidate is not allowed to use a calculator during the test. Plain paper and a pencil are allowed for rough work.
• Candidate CANNOT talk or speak during the test, or use any device like phones or tablets for anything. If the candidate disturbs the position of the camera, the test will be auto-submitted and will not be accessible and available to the candidate after that.
• Candidates should make sure that they are using the same laptop /desktop for all the tests.
• Any attempt to impersonate or indulge in any malpractice, identified at any stage of the admission process would disqualify the candidate from the admission processes to all UG programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and may also lead to appropriate legal action as deemed fit.

SITEEE Results 2024

The conducting authority will declare the results on May 22, 2024, on the official website after the examination is over. Candidates can check their SITEEE 2024 results using the login credentials such as the application number and password.

Steps to Check SITEEE Results 2024

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the Official website, www.set-test.org. 
• Step 2: Check for the Results tab.
• Step 3: Click on it and enter the login credentials.
• Step 4: The results will be displayed on the screen.
• Step 5: Download the score sheet and take the printout of the same.

SITEEE Counselling 2024

SITEEE counselling 2024 will be held if the candidates have appeared for the examination or registered for it based on JEE Main 2024 and MHT CET 2024. The SITEEE Counselling 2024 would first be held for those who will appear for SITEEE 2024. If a candidate has been called for counselling then they should have to be physically present and report to the institution for document verification.
