How to Apply for BMSCE Admission 2026?

Candidates may apply for BMSCE Admission 2026 via two distinct modes, depending on their quota. The Online Process is mandatory for Merit seats (KCET/COMEDK), while the Offline Process is for the Management Quota applicants. All seats require a valid entrance exam score—no direct admission without it.

BMSCE Online Application Process

The Online application is for the Government Quota via KCET & All-India Merit via COMEDK. These are handled by external bodies; BMSCE does not host its own online form for seat booking.

• Step 1: Online Registration: Register online on the appropriate portal (KEA at kea.kar.nic.in for KCET, or COMEDK at comedk.org for UGET) by filling in personal, academic, and contact details, and uploading the required biometric documents.
• Step 2: Appear for Entrance Exam: Successfully appear and qualify in the relevant entrance exam (KCET for Karnataka Government quota, COMEDK UGET for All-India Merit, JEE Main for BE, GATE/PGCET for M.Tech, or KMAT/PGCET for MBA/MCA).
• Step 3: Check Result & Rank: Wait for the official result declaration, download your rank card, and note your rank to understand your admission chances for BMSCE-specific branches.
• Step 4: Document Preparation: Collect and keep ready all original documents, including Class 10/12 marks cards, study certificates, and category/income certificates (if applicable) for verification.
• Step 5: Participate in Counselling: Register for centralized counselling (KEA for KCET seats or COMEDK portal for COMEDK seats). Complete the document verification to generate your unique Secret Key (for KCET). Log in, fill in BMS College of Engineering (E003) as your priority choice, and lock your preferences.
• Step 6: Seat Allotment & Acceptance: Check the allotted seat in each counselling round. If allotted BMSCE, choose to "Accept & Freeze" (pay the required fee to the authority to confirm) or "Float" to wait for a higher preference in subsequent rounds.
• Step 7: Download Admission Order: Once the seat is confirmed and fees are paid to KEA/COMEDK, download the official Admission Order. This document is mandatory for the final reporting at the college.
• Step 8: Final College Reporting: Visit the BMSCE campus (Bull Temple Road) on the specific date mentioned in your Admission Order. Submit all original documents for physical verification and pay the miscellaneous college fees.
• Step 9: Join the Institute: Attend the induction program, complete hostel registration (if required), and officially commence your academic journey at BMSCE.

BMSCE Offline Application Process

Management quota applications are direct to the college, mostly offline with possible email support.

• Step 1: Visit the Trust Office: Visit the BMS Educational Trust (BMSET) office located at the Bull Temple Road campus in person. This is the only authorized point for Management Quota inquiries.
• Step 2: Collect Application Form: Request the "Management Admission Inquiry Form" from the admissions desk. You may need to pay a nominal application fee to obtain this.
• Step 3: Submit Academic Documents: Submit the filled hard copy of the form along with photocopies of your 10th Marks Card, 12th Marks Card (if available), and your Entrance Exam Rank Card (KCET/COMEDK/JEE/PGCET). Note: A valid rank is mandatory.
• Step 4: Seat Blocking & Payment: Upon confirmation of seat availability and eligibility, you will be directed to pay the Tuition & Development Fee via a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of the BMS Educational Trust.
• Step 5: Provisional Admission Letter: Collect the Provisional Admission Letter from the trust office. This confirms your seat booking pending the submission of the final original documents.
• Step 6: Final Regularization: Once the government counselling dates are announced, you must submit your original documents to the BMSCE college office (not the Trust office) to regularize the admission and generate your University Seat Number (USN).
