- Students must carry the JEE admit card 2025 and a government-issued, valid photo ID proof.
- Candidates can carry any one of the following ID proofs for verification, such as a school ID card, PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, passport, or Aadhaar card.
- They should carry additional photographs as they need to paste them on the attendance sheet.
- PwD students must carry a PwD certificate.
- The printout of the duly filled self-declaration form downloaded from the NTA official website should also be submitted on the day of the entrance test.
- They must carry a blue or black ballpoint pen and a transparent bottle.
- A scribble pad will be provided to the candidates for calculation before leaving the exam hall; students must hand over the pad to the invigilator.
- If a student is diabetic, then they are allowed to carry sugar tablets or fruits to the exam hall.
Things to Avoid Carrying to the JEE Main Exam Hall 2026
- Gadgets: Any candidate found carrying electronic devices like a calculator, electronic watch/ smartwatch, or mobile phone will be prevented from entering the examination hall.
- Stationery: If candidates are found bringing any stationery like paper, a geometry box, or a pencil box, they will be banned from the exam. There is an exception for students appearing for B.Arch.
- Personal belongings like purses, handbags, earphones, and microphones are prohibited inside the examination hall.
