Gujarat NEET PG counselling 2022 for the second phase is scheduled to start on October 15, 2022. Candidates will be able to take part in the online counselling process till October 26, 2022. The round one counselling process for Gujarat NEET PG admission commenced on September 25 and lasted till October 4, 2022.
Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC), Gujarat, is the conducting authority of Gujarat NEET PG counselling 2022. Only candidates who have their names listed in the merit list will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. There will be three rounds of counselling for Gujarat NEET PG 2022 admission.

Gujarat NEET PG 2022 Counselling Process
The counselling process for Gujarat NEET PG 2022 admission involves various steps, including online registration, verification of documents, filling of choices, etc. In this section, we have explained the Gujarat NEET PG counselling process in detail.
Online Registration
Candidates intending to attend the Gujarat NEET PG 2022 counselling process are required to register on the official website of ACPPGMEC. A 14-digit PIN has to be purchased for online registration. The cost of this PIN is INR 2,000. This 5-digit number would serve as the candidate’s user ID.
Document Verification
The next step of the Gujarat NEET PG counselling process requires candidates to report to the help centres along with the required documents. Candidates whose documents are authentic, as verified by the authorities, will be able to proceed with the counselling.
Documents Required for Gujarat NEET PG 2022 Counselling
Candidates will have to furnish the original copies of the following documents verified during the Gujarat NEET PG counselling 2022:
- MBBS Marksheets (all years)
- NEET PG 2022 scorecard
- Internship completion certificate
- Provisional or Permanent Registration Certificate (issued by MCI or NMC)
The above-mentioned documents are to be carried to the verification centre. Candidates can choose the verification centre during the time of registration for Gujarat NEET PG counselling. They will also be required to select the date and time for document verification in advance.

Release of State Merit List
After document verification, authorities publish the merit list based on scores obtained in NEET PG 2022. ACPPGMEC releases merit lists separately for each category of candidates participating in the Gujarat NEET PG counselling process.
Gujarat NEET PG 2022 Merit List: Reasons for not being Included
A large number of candidates register for Gujarat NEET PG counselling. However, some of them might wonder why they are not included in the merit list. We have listed the reasons below:
- The applicant is not an Indian citizen (excluding candidates eligible under the NRI quota).
- The applicant did not clear NEET PG 2022.
- Candidate pursued MBBS/BDS from a university outside Gujarat (excluding candidates eligible for NRI & In-service quota).
- Failure to report at the help centre for the verification of documents.
- The candidate’s internship was completed after 31st March 2022.
- The Medical Board has declared the candidate unfit.
- The applicant was admitted through ACPPGMEC into MS/MD/MDS courses in the last three academic years or diploma programs in the last two academic years.
Online Filling of Choices
Candidates who are included in the state merit list need to enter their choices of courses and colleges in the online preference form. They will be required to visit the official website and log in to their registered accounts to fill in their choices. There is no limit on the number of choices that can be submitted by the applicant.
Release of Seat Allotment List
The authorities will release the result for every round of Gujarat NEET PG counselling 2022 in the form of a seat allotment list. To prepare this list, factors like NEET PG scores, the candidate’s merit position, and the choices filled are taken into consideration.
Confirmation of the Admission
Candidates who want to retain the seat allotted to them during Gujarat NEET PG counselling 2022 must follow the instructions given below in order to confirm their admission.
- Sign in to your registered account and schedule an appointment at the nearest help centre.
- Then, fill in your bank details for refunds (if any).
- Next, download the fee challan and allotment letter.
- Now, make the tuition fee payment (online or offline).
- Further, download the receipt of payment from the portal of ACPPGMEC.
- Go to the help centre at the scheduled date and time.
- Submit your documents in an envelope (dimensions: 11x15 inches) with the following information mentioned on it.
