MCC NEET PG 2025 is organised and managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The NEET PG Counselling 2025 will be carried out by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) in three main rounds round 1, round 2, and round 3 to allocate seats for MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs in medical colleges throughout India.
The MCC NEET PG 2025 registration and fee payment process started on October 17, 2025 and will end on November 5, 2025. Candidates can fill and lock their preferred college and course choices till November 5, 2025. The Round 1 seat allotment results will be announced on November 8, 2025, followed by the reporting period from November 9 to 15, 2025 for document verification and admission confirmation.
Candidates who wish to upgrade their seats or missed the first round can participate in MCC NEET PG 2025 Round 2 from November 19 to December 4, 2025, including registration, choice filling, result declaration, and reporting.
The MCC NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling registration will open from December 8 to 14, 2025 and allotment results will be announced on December 17, 2025. The final reporting window is from December 18 to 26, 2025.
It should be noted that MCC handles counselling for 50% of the All India Quota seats, with the remaining 50% being handled by the appropriate state counselling bodies. To allocate seats at central universities, 50% of AIQ seats and 50% of State quota seats, MCC holds four rounds of counselling in total.

MCC NEET PG 2025 Counselling Process
The MCC NEET PG counselling is conducted online. It starts with the online registration for the counselling process and ends with reporting at the allocated institute/college along with all the documents.

MCC NEET PG 2025 Choice Filling
- Based on their preferences, aspirants will have to fill out the course and college after the completion of the registration process of the MCC NEET PG 2025 Counselling. There is no limitation for the choice filling.
- However, it is advised that to get the desired college & courses, the candidates must lock their choices. The authority will automatically secure the preferences in case the candidates failed to do so. In case the candidates do not register and fill out their preferences, the system will not assign any seats for them.
MCC NEET PG 2025 Seat Allotment
- MCC release the seats available at the respective colleges after the choice-locking process. They will declare the seat allotments along with the allotment number at the end of each round of counselling.
- Aspirants can check the details regarding their allocation and can download the allotment letter as issued by the MCC. They must take the printout of the allotment letter for further admission process.

MCC NEET PG 2025 Allotment List
MCC releases the seat allotment list of the NEET PG Counselling and will allocate the seats based on the choices filled by the candidates & on their All India Ranks. It will publish the NEET PG Seat Allotment letter in a PDF format on its official website. Candidates can visit the official website and download the seat allotment letter.
NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round-1
- Candidates are required to fill up the registration form before the last date. Additionally, candidates must report to the allotted college on the due date.
NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round-2
- The Round-2 NEET PG counselling is conducted for candidates who did not get any seats in the 1st round of counselling. Also, for the candidates who are not satisfied with the seat assigned in the first round and want to upgrade their seats, can participate in the 2nd round.
- After the second round of counselling (Provisional Result) would be released, candidates could download their final seat allotment letter from the official website for the NEET PG 2025. Counselling for round 2 would be online as candidates had to report to the institute on the date prescribed.
NEET PG 2025 Counselling - Mop-up Round
The NEET PG mop-up round of counselling will be conducted for
- Candidates who did not attend the 1st and 2nd rounds of counselling.

NEET PG 2025 Stray Vacancy Round
The pointers for participating in the Stray Vacancy Round are as follows.
- No New Registration/ Payment option for Online Stray Vacancy Round.
- No Fresh Choice Filling will be conducted for the Online Stray Vacancy Round.
- The Choices exercised by candidates in the Mop-Up Round will be considered for allotment of seats for the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Allotment of seats ‘Online’ by running software.
- Eligible candidates who are not holding any seats can only participate in the Online Stray Vacancy Round.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling - State Quota Seats
Each state will declare its seats available for the state counselling quota. The process begins after the NBE announces the official NEET results.
- Through the state quota, NEET PG counselling, 50% of seats in government colleges and 100% in private colleges in the state are filled.
- The respective state releases its counselling application form for state admission.
- However, candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria to participate in the counselling process.
- Further, the counselling authority will release the eligible candidates' NEET PG state merit list.
