The Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh, is responsible for organising the state’s counselling process on behalf of the AMRU, Himachal Pradesh.

HP NEET PG Counselling Process 2025

The HP NEET PG counselling 2025 will take place in online mode and consists of various rounds. Here are the steps that will be involved in the HP NEET PG 2025 counselling process:

• First, applicants must visit the official website to register themselves for the counselling process. They also have to pay a fee of INR 1,500 (general) or INR 1,000 (SC/ST) to apply.
• Next, candidates need to fill out their choices of courses and colleges.
• The authorities then publish the HP NEET PG seat allotment list according to the seat matrix and choices filled. Post that, it prepares and releases the final merit list for Himachal Pradesh PG medical admission.
• Those selected in the seat allotment process need to go to the AMRU portal and download their selection letters.
• Lastly, candidates shortlisted in the HP NEET PG counselling process must report to the assigned institute. They need to pay the required fee and get their documents verified to reserve their seats.

Himachal Pradesh NEET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Those who wish to gain admission to medical and dental colleges in Himachal Pradesh must meet the following criteria:

• Nationality: Indian
• Domicile: Himachal Pradesh 
• Non-domicile: Such aspirants are eligible to apply for private seats
• Educational qualification: Pursued MBBS/BDS from an HP-based institute
• Registration: Only those registered with MCI/state medical council or DCI/state dental council can apply
• Internship: Completed 1-year rotatory internship latest by Jul 31, 2025
• Qualifying entrance exam: Cleared NEET PG and NEET MDS exams by obtaining the minimum marks.
