Steps to Apply for IISER Exam 2024
Students can fill out the IISER application form 2024 between Apr 1 to May 13, 2024. However, the form correction is expected to start from third week of May. Moreover, students must check the steps to apply for the IISER exam given below.
Step 1: Visit the Official Website

- Candidate must sign up using a valid email ID which would be verified. The candidate must also select a password (8 to 16 characters, with at least a capital letter, a number, and a unique character). They must specify their name, as printed on the Class XII mark sheet. Any discrepancy may disqualify the application.
- On successfully verifying the email ID, the candidate can log in to IISER 2024 official site using their email ID and password.
Step 2: Select "Form"
- On the homepage, students will get an option "Form". They must search and click on it.
Step 3: Check the Admission Form
- Students must check the and download the following list of details shared below while filling out the application form.
Step 4: Fill In the Required Details
- The application form involves six or seven steps, depending on the candidates' chosen channel. In each stage, the candidate must furnish data to validate their candidature. If the candidate gets an offer of admission, some of those data would be verified against appropriate documents.
- Most of the fields in each step are simple. The candidate would be asked to provide personal, academic, and other details. Instructions are given beside each area that needs clarification.
- If the candidate is applying through the SCB channel, they must enter subject-wise marks (name of the subject, marks obtained out of maximum marks). If the board considers XI and XII's performance for the percentage calculation, then the candidate must add the total effects (addition of XI and XII entries) for that subject.
- After completing each step (when they click Next), the data candidates enter are saved. A candidate may log out and come back later to complete the IISER application form 2024.
- If the candidate has started the application, then after logging in, the candidate will be able to view all their applications on the My Application page.
- The last step in the application form is the payment of application fees. Once the price is successful, the candidate can find their completed application under the My Application tab. The status should say "Complete", and the application fees column should say "Paid" for complete applications. At this stage, the candidate can download a copy of the application for records.
- Even after the IISER exam online application is complete, the candidate may log in and change some of the data (except Name and Email Address). However, the candidate should take a print of the latest version of the IISER entrance exam application form.
- For the SCB channel, the Hall tickets will be available on the My Application page (which the candidates can access after logging in). If they are offered admission to one of IISER's, their offer letter will also be available on the same page.
