UP NEET Merit List 2022: Document Verification

Once the UP NEET merit list 2022 is published online, the concerned authority will release a document verification schedule for candidates listed in the merit list. Candidates are required to report to the designated venue in person for document verification. Here is the list of documents that one needs to get verified: 

• Certificate of grade 10th
• Certificate of grade 12th
• Standard 12th mark sheet
• NEET admit card 2022
• NEET scorecard 2022
• Category certificate, if applicable
• Domicile certificate (Only for candidates from Uttar Pradesh)
• Certificate of sub-category (if applicable)
• ID proof (voter card, aadhar card, etc.)
• Passport size photo
• Fee receipt

Tie-Breaker Rule for UP MBBS/BDS 2022 Merit List 

In a situation where 2 or more applicants get the same rank, a tie-breaker is required. Here are the tie-breaking rules for UP NEET merit list 2022:

• Candidates securing better marks in biology will be preferred over others.
• If the first method fails to resolve the tie, candidates who attain higher scores in chemistry will be considered.
• In case the tie persists, preference will be given to the candidate with lower negative marks.
• Lastly, if the tie continues, the candidate who is older in age will be preferred.

UP NEET 2022 Seat Allotment Procedure

Applicants whose names appear on the UP NEET merit list 2022 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. UP NEET 2022 counselling will take place in two phases or rounds. The allotment of seats and mop-up round process will be conducted separately for every round. 

Note that the seat allotment will solely depend on merit rank and preferences filled out by the candidates. DME, Uttar Pradesh, will publish the seat allotment results for rounds one and two online. Those who are allotted seats in the first round also get an up-gradation option in round two. In case the applicant receives an upgraded seat in the second round, the seat allocated in round one will be cancelled.
