DMER follows the tie-breaking rule when two or more aspirants have the same score. The tie-breaking rule for the Maharashtra NEET merit list 2023 is mentioned below:
- Higher marks in Biology - The Maharashtra NEET merit list will prioritise candidates with higher scores in the biology section.
- Higher marks in Chemistry - The marks from the chemistry part will be considered while determining the Maharashtra MBBS 2023 merit list if there is still a tie.
- Lesser negative marking - Additionally, candidates with fewer incorrect responses will be prioritised in the Maharashtra NEET 2023 merit list.
