The state of Kerala approximately has 3182 MBBS and 2077 BDS seats to offer across the medical and dental colleges in the state. The higher a candidate’s position in the merit list, the higher are the chances of them getting admission. 

In the state of Kerala, 85% of the available MBBS and BDS seats will be reserved for admission through the state quota, and the remaining 15% of seats will be for the All India Quota (AIQ).

The following are the steps to be followed by the candidates to download the Kerala NEET 2025 merit list after it is published by the official authority. 

1. Visit the official website of Kerala CEE at cee.kerala.gov.in
2. Click on the link given to check the NEET merit list
3. The merit list will open as a PDF
4. Candidates should check for their application number, exam roll number and name in the PDF
5. If the name of a candidate is present in the merit list, the candidate is deemed eligible and can proceed to the Kerala NEET counselling rounds.

Kerala NEET 2025 Merit List Particulars

While checking the Kerala NEET merit list 2025, candidates must make sure all the details furnished are correct. The particulars that will be mentioned in the Kerala NEET 2025 merit list are as follows.

Kerala NEET Merit List 2025 Tie Breaking Criteria

To resolve situations like that of two or more candidates securing the same merit rank, the following tie-breaking criteria are used to decide which candidate gets awarded the higher position in the Kerala NEET merit list 2025. 

1. The candidate with better marks in Biology will be considered first. 
2. The Chemistry marks will be considered next if the tie still exists. 
3. If the tie still doesn’t get resolved, the candidate with a lesser number of incorrect responses will be given the higher rank. 
4. If the tie exists even after following the above three criteria, the older candidate among them gets to keep the higher rank.

Kerala NEET 2025 Counselling

The dates for the Kerala NEET counselling 2025 will be announced for the candidates who have secured a place in the rank list. Further, they will be eligible for admission to the state’s MBBS, BDS and other medical courses. 

The eligible candidates will have to fill in their college and course preferences online to proceed further. Kerala NEET 2025 admission to candidates will be provided based on influencing factors such as the candidate’s merit, category, the state’s reservation policy and seat availability in the participating medical colleges and universities.
