Andhra Pradesh NEET Merit List 2023 Tie Breaking Criteria
To decide on inter-se merit, the competent authority will apply tie-breaking criteria if two or more candidates have achieved equivalent scores in NEET 2023 exam. Here are some methods for breaking ties.
- The Biology section will be given preference to candidates with higher marks
- Those with more marks in Chemistry will be considered if there is still a tie
- Candidates with fewer incorrect marks will be considered over those with more incorrect marks if the above-mentioned criteria do not resolve the tie
- Candidates who are older will be given preference if none of the above criteria is applicable.
