Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling round 1 free exit process is open to qualified candidates until Sep 21, 2025. Meanwhile, NMC has added 180 additional MBBS seats at GMC Ongole, AGMC Parameshwaramangalam, and SMC Nandyala. Candidates who do not use the free leave option will be unable to vacate their seats until the admissions process is completed.
According to NTRUHS, candidates who have been provisionally assigned seats must report to their respective institutes by Aug 29, 2025, with all relevant original documents and a set of self-attested copies. The commencement of classes took place from Sep 5, 2025.

Andhra Pradesh joined the 15% All India Quota programme in 2018. It will now be organised for the state of Andhra Pradesh's 85% state-quota medical seats. 1. AP State Merit List
Check the process below regarding the formulation of the Andhra Pradesh State Merit List 2025.
- Candidates who complete the document verification procedure will have their names added to the state's merit list by NTRUHS, according to the website's official announcement.
- The names of applicants who have enrolled for AP NEET counselling will be listed with their state and category-specific rankings in the merit list.
2. AP NEET and Colleges Choice Filling
- Candidates must enter their selections for courses and colleges on the website by logging in with the previously generated ID and password.
- The number of colleges and courses chosen from the provided list of alternatives has no set maximum.
- It should be mentioned that MBBS/BDS seats will be distributed following the selections made by the applicants.
3. AP NEET Seat Allotment
- NTRUHS releases the list of applicants who have been assigned seats for the AP NEET exam based on their NEET scores, state merit list rankings, and selections.
- Candidates who want their seats confirmed must appear at the institute.
- After the initial allocation, any empty seats are carried over to the second round, and so on.

Eligibility for Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling

- Candidates must be Indian citizens or possess PIO/OCI cards.
- Candidates must meet the local and non-local requirements in the state of AP.

- Candidates with valid AP state residence will be awarded the state quota seats.
- For 15% of the seats in the All India Quota that are outside of Andhra Pradesh. These are distributed through NEET counselling; candidates from Andhra Pradesh are not eligible. They can only enrol at AFMC if seats are available under the 15% All India Quota.
- Candidates could apply for AQI with a self-declaration form even if they were not domiciled (born in the state) in AP.
- These applicants will not be qualified to apply to any Andhra Pradesh medical or dentistry institutions.
- The management quota seats are open to applicants who have previously applied for management quota seats (Category A). However, they must reapply.
