What is ILSAT?

ICFAI Law Admission Test or ILSAT is an entrance exam conducted by the ICFAI Law School for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate level law courses. The law admission test is conducted in an online mode for all courses. The final admissions are done based on entrance test scores, course eligibility criteria, and personal interviews. ILSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must go through the ILSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form. A candidate's application might be rejected at any time during the process of admission if the candidate is found to be ineligible for the examination. The minimum set of requirements for being eligible to appear in ILSAT 2021 are as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed in class XII or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% and above marks in English medium.
  • Class XII (or equivalent) aspirants who appeared for their final examinations before July 16, 2021, and awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
  • The age limit is that the applicant should not be more than 20 years of age as on the day of commencement of the semesters i.e., July 16 2021.

ILSAT 2021 Application Form

The application form ILSAT 2021 will be available on the official website. Candidates should fill the application form before the last date. The application form is available in both online and offline mode.


For the online application form, candidates can fill the form online & make payment of Rs.1000 using Credit Card or Debit Card (Visa/Master Card/Internet Banking) through a secure internet payment gateway. The candidates also have to upload their passport size colour photograph (recent) while filling the online application form for ILSAT 2021


For the offline application form, applicants can download the application form & send it to the admission office along with the demand draft of Rs.1000 as the application fee. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of "IFHE-Prospectus Fee A/C ILSAT 2021" payable at Hyderabad. The Law programmes prospectus will be sent to such applicants.

ILSAT 2021 Admit Card

Admit Card is the most important document for the candidate. The ILSAT 2021 admit card will be issued to all the candidates who have successfully applied for ILSAT 2021. It will be available on the official website. It is expected that the hall ticket will be issued 1 or 2 weeks before the exam date. The steps to download the admit card is given below:

  1. Visit the official website of ILSAT Hyderabad.
  2. The admit card login window will appear, enter the application ID and Password to log in.
  3. The admit card will appear on the screen, cross-check all the details mentioned on it before downloading it.
  4. Download the admit card and get printouts to carry on the exam day and for further references.

Documents to carry with ILSAT 2021 Admit Card

Candidates should carry anyone the following documents with ILSAT 2021 admit card as their photo ID proof:

  • A notarized Affidavit with photo, signature, date of birth and residential address

The photo id proof should match with the photo uploaded in the application form. The candidates should carry the photo ID proof in original as well as copy.

ILSAT 2021 Exam Pattern

ILSAT 2021 is conducted in the online mode i.e computer based exam with a duration of 2 hours. Candidates are highly advised to check out the exam pattern, as it will five them a clear idea about the examination paper. The ILSAT 2021 exam pattern is as follows:

  • There will be 5 sections in the question paper with 25 questions in each section.
  • The duration of the test will be of 2 hours.
  • MCQ type questions will be asked.
  • Computer experience or typing skills are not required to take the test.
  • The test will be in self-directed CBT format.
  • Maximum marks for the question paper is 125 marks.
  • Each question carries 1 mark.

ILSAT 2021 Results

The results of the ICFAI Law School Admission Test 2021 is declared on the official web portal. All the candidates who have appeared in the entrance test can check their results from the official website. The shortlisted candidates will also have to appear for the interview rounds. The selection for admission into the program is based on merit secured in the ILSAT 2021 performance and the personal interview.

ILSAT 2021 Counselling

The counselling process of the ICFAI Law School Admission Test (ILSAT) 2021 will be conducted at the official address of IFHE. Candidates who are shortlisted based on scores in ILSAT will be appearing for the selection rounds as per the schedule shared by the institute. Candidates will be issued provisional letters to appear for ILSAT counselling 2021 i.e. Personal Interview rounds, and they need to carry the required documents and admission fee. The institute will verify the documents of the candidates and then, shortlist the candidates based on merit list and eligibility criteria for the course.
