As the earth science is very important nowadays there is a high demand for Geologists in Industries, mining and explorations work.
Applicants can also become part of various researches related to environment and Marine surroundings.
Teaching is also an option for them which is available for graduates with B.Sc Geology degree.
After passing the course they are able to plan programs for exploration of sites for oil, gas, water, minerals, etc. surveying and mapping geologically promising sites: collecting, recording and analyzing samples and data from test sites and advising on the development of reserves.
The average minimum salary for a Bachelor of Science (Geology) graduate is Rs. 3,30,000 or a higher pay depending on the type of course or specialization taken up by the candidate and the aggregate marks by him/her in their final semester.
