Odisha NEET Counselling 2025: Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment (Sep 18), Reporting (Sep 22-26)

Odisha NEET Counselling 2025 is conducted by Odisha Joint Entrance Examination(OJEE). The round 2 institute reporting and admission process will run from Sep 22, 2025, to Sep 26, 2025.

The Odisha NEET Round 2 Counselling 2025 registration will be open from Sep 10, 2025, to Sep 11, 2025. The revised merit list will be announced on Sep 13, 2025. The choice filling and locking will take place from Sep 15, 2025, to Sep 17, 2025. The provisional seat allotment result will be declared on Sep 19, 2025. 

The entire registration procedure is done online. A total of 1,813 candidates were allotted MBBS and BDS seats in Odisha.

Students who have passed the NEET exam are eligible to apply for NEET UG Counselling 2025 via the official website, ojee.nic.in. Counselling will take place in several rounds to allocate seats in MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and Veterinary courses. NEET counselling is held for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats under the All India Quota (AIQ), which accounts for 15%.

The State Medical Counselling and Admission Authorities are in charge of performing the counselling process for 85% of State Quota seats. NEET 2025 counselling is divided into four rounds- Round 1, Round 2, Round 3: Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.

Odisha NEET 2025 counselling is conducted through a number of steps, such as online registration, document verification, state merit list release, etc. The candidates should follow the following 5 steps in NEET counselling.

1. Registration and Application Process

Candidates must register on the official OJEE website to participate in Odisha NEET counselling 2025. Six steps make up the entire application process:

• Online registration using a valid email address, phone number, and roll number for NEET 2025
• Signing in with credentials generated during registration
• Filling out the application form for Odisha NEET 2025
• A scanned image of a photograph, a signature, and a thumb impression should be uploaded
• Applying and paying the application fee online
• Taking a print of the completed Odisha NEET counselling 2025 application

2. Verification of the Documents

The document verification is conducted entirely offline. Candidates must choose a verification centre of their convenience while filling out the application form for Odisha NEET counselling 2025. They should then report to the centre with the original documents. After the successful document verification, a confirmation slip is issued to the candidates for future reference.

3. State Merit List Release

As soon as the document verification process is complete, the OJEE Cell will release a list of candidates who are eligible for counselling. Candidates with incomplete applications and failed document verification will not be included in the list. The state merit list is based on the candidates' performance in the NEET examination 2025. 

4. Choice Filling and Locking

Those who have been included in the state merit list for Odisha NEET 2025 counselling can proceed with choice filling and locking. Candidates can fill out this form with as many choices as they like. Thus, they are advised to choose as many options as possible. Candidates must lock their choices after filling them out, or they will not be considered for seat allocation.

5. Seat Allotment List Release

The OJEE Cell allocates seats to eligible candidates based on their choices and position in the state merit list. Seat allotment lists is released separately for each round. The candidate who has been allocated a seat must report to the institute before the deadline if they want to continue with that institute.

There are some NEET eligibility criteria which students should fulfil to take part in the Odisha NEET counselling process of 2025. Here are the important criteria for the candidates.

• There is no upper age limit; candidates must be 17 years old as of December 31, 2025
• The candidates must be citizens of Odisha or the children of All India Civil Service employees serving the state of Odisha
• As a General Candidate (GE), the candidate must have passed +2 Science and Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually, and must have obtained a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at +2 Science level, 40% for SC/ST candidates, and 45% for benchmark disabled candidates
• In the SC/ST category, the required mark for the Physically Challenged candidate is 40%.
