Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025: Round 3 Seat Allotment Result (Postponed)

Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025 round 2 has been postponed by the MCC. It has been postponed due to the addition of new medical seats from NMC to the round 2 counselling process. As a result, Karnataka NEET counselling 2025 candidates seeking admission to medical and dentistry courses should delay making any decisions, as changes in MCC NEET counselling 2025 would affect the Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025 seat intake for round 2 and the following rounds of counselling. 

The Karnataka NEET UG 2025 counselling schedule is expected to be announced soon by the KEA. After the Karnataka NEET UG 2025 choice entry process is completed, the KEA UGNEET seat allotment result is announced. Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025 round 1 registration was concluded on Jul 17, 2025. The Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling result was released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Aug 1, 2025, at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The provisional allotment result for NEET UG 2025 Round 1 was announced on the same day. As per the official schedule, the final allotment result was declared on Aug 2, 2025. Candidates who participated in the one-time option entry can now check their results online.

The Karnataka Examination Authority conducts the Karnataka NEET Counselling on the official website. KEA will conduct the NEET counselling 2025 process in two rounds, followed by a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round for the 85% state quota seats.  

A total of 10,995 MBBS and 3,445 BDS seats are available in various private and government colleges across the state, with admission strictly based on merit. Candidates must stay updated with counselling and admissions to MBBS  and BDS colleges in Karnataka through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

• It is held for courses like MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Unani, homoeopathy, and Ayurveda. 
• There are two counselling grounds and one mop-up round (if any seats remain vacant)
• Two conducting bodies for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025 are KEA and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). 
• The counselling process conducted by KEA covers 85% of state quota seats and 100% of private college seats. 
• Whereas for 15% of All India Quota Seats, the counselling process is conducted by MCC.
• There are 43,451 seats available for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025, including 33,829 seats for MBBS and 9622 seats for BDS.

Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025: Registration and Process

The process for Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025 registration is given below. The candidate must check the process to ensure smooth registration for Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025.

Step 1: Go to the official website and choose "cetonline.karnataka.gov.in" as your first step.

Step 2: Provide personal details including name, contact information, category, PwD status, educational background, birthdate, etc. 

Step 3: The applicant's registered cellphone number will receive an email with their application ID and password.

Step 4: Submit a current passport-sized photo, signature, and thumbprint (left hand).

Step 5: Pay the registration/counselling fee. You can pay the registration cost online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. 

Step 6: The candidate must now choose the course and college of their choice. 

Step 7: A list of all the applicants who enrolled for the Karnataka NEET counselling 2025 will be made public by KEA. 

Step 8: KEA will then make seat allotments, which will be created based on candidates' qualifications and their selections.
