NTA creates a JEE Main 2022 unique question paper for each candidate wherein every candidate taking the JEE Main exam will receive a different set of questions.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) introduced the JEE Main 2022 unique question paper for each candidate to avoid the repetition of questions and to minimise the chances of duplication. JEE Main is conducted at a national level where the competition is high. Due to limited seats and high cutoffs, only a certain percentage of candidates can qualify for the exam. Besides, the JEE Main exam is considered tough with each passing year, and the level of difficulty increases.

Advantages of JEE Main 2022 Unique Question Paper for Each Candidate
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the JEE Main 2022 will have a unique question paper for each candidate, a significant change from the traditional method of having a common question paper for all candidates. Here are some advantages of the JEE Main 2022 unique question paper for each candidate:
- All the candidates received a different set of questions which minimised the chances of employing any unfair means or repetition of questions.
- The questions were set using AI, and each question's answer keys varied.
- Further, the questions were randomly crafted from the question bank by the computer program algorithm.
- It reduced the chances of partiality or concentration on only one topic.
- Candidates could go back to the previous questions as and when required while keeping some difficult questions for review once the easier ones are done.
Features of JEE Main 2022 Question Paper
JEE Main questions were MCQ pattern and were conducted in CBT mode. Candidates appeared at the allocated exam centre on time. Some of the additional features were as follows:
- All the candidates were allotted one monitor where the questions were displayed.
- Candidates were required to enter their roll number and begin the examination.
- Each set of questions was different to minimise the chances of cheating.
- Candidates' conceptual knowledge was thoroughly tested.
- Additionally, mock test centres were established in each state where candidates could visit and attempt the mock exam.
- Further, the facility to attempt the mock examination in the comfort of home was also possible.
- Since the question set was different, the difficulty level of each session was variable.
- The question banks released by NTA are specially designed in consultation with Psychometricians.
- Besides, the questionnaire was concentrated thoroughly on the syllabus.
