Bihar NEET Counselling 2025: Round 2 Choice Filling (Sep 15-18), Know Process to Fill Preferences

Bihar NEET Counselling 2025 round 2 dates are out. The round 2 choice filling and locking is scheduled from Sep 15 to 18, 2025. The round 2 seat allotment result 2025 will be announced soon, on the Bihar UGMAC official website. The Bihar NEET counselling 2025 round 2 allotment letter must be downloaded on the scheduled dates, followed by the document verification and admission.

The Bihar NEET counselling rank card is released on its official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Students need to enter their UGMAC ID and their Date of birth to access the rank card 2025. The Bihar NEET counselling is held for candidates with 50% marks from the general quota and 40% from the reserved quota. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) releases the counselling schedule; the registration process and other dates will be announced on the official website.

Bihar NEET Counselling 2025 Highlights

The candidates who secure good marks, qualify the minimum cut off requirements in the NEET examination and achieve a place in the merit list prepared by the BCECEB will be eligible to participate in the Bihar NEET Counselling 2025. 

The Bihar NEET Counselling 2025 will allot a total of 1151 MBBS and 243 BDS seats that come under the 85% of state quota. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will handle the admissions to the remaining 15% MBBS and BDS seats available in the state that are reserved for the All India Quota (AIQ), deemed and central universities.

Eligibility Criteria for Bihar NEET Counselling 2025

All candidates are expected to satisfy the eligibility criteria before applying for counselling. The eligibility criteria for candidates to be able to participate in the Bihar NEET 2025 counselling are as follows. 

• Bihar domicile status is a must to apply for Bihar NEET Counselling 2025.
• The candidate must have qualified for the NEET 2025 examination. 
• Applicants must have completed 17 years. Anyone born on or after 02-01-2005 will not be eligible for admission. 
• The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% in class 12 board exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. A relaxation of 10% and 5% , that is, a minimum of 40% and 45%, is required for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and Physically Handicapped candidates, respectively.

Bihar NEET Counselling 2025 Process 

The counselling process will be held systematically. The following are the steps in the Bihar NEET counselling 2025 process in chronological order. 

1. Firstly, the candidates who qualify the eligibility criteria of Bihar NEET must visit the official website of BCECE and must register themselves by filling in the required information in step one of the application form. They must give correct credentials for the activation of their accounts and procure the UGMAC ID. 
2. Once activated and signed in, candidates have to fill in the rest of the Bihar NEET Counselling 2025 application form with the required personal and educational information and submit the same with legally valid and accurate testimonials and documents. 
3. The crucial point of this application is the selection of preferred courses and colleges that the candidates wish to get admission in. 
4. The last step in the application process for Bihar NEET Counselling 2025  will be the payment of the counselling fee, which should be done using the available online payment methods. 
5. The candidates will have to download and print the submitted application form for the Bihar NEET Counselling 2025 counselling round. 
6. In Bihar NEET 2025 counselling, the candidates on the merit list will be allotted seats based on their preferences, candidates’ merit and the availability of seats. 
7. Once the BCECE is done with the seat allotment, the allotment letters will be sent to the candidates, with which the candidates should report to the assigned colleges. 
8. The final step of the admission process is the verification of documents and payment of college fees. 
9. The candidates can start their journeys as medical and dental students after the completion of the above-mentioned process.
