Bihar NEET Counselling 2023 is held for candidates with 50% marks from the general quota and 40% from the reserved quota. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) released the stray vacancy round schedule; the registration process began on Nov 2, 2023, and registrations ended on Nov 4, 2023. The authority released the Bihar NEET UG stray vacancy round seat allotment results on Nov 5, 2023. The registrations for Bihar NEET UG special stray vacancy round will be concluded on Nov 8, 2023.

Bihar NEET Counselling 2023 Highlights

The candidates who secure good marks, qualify the minimum cut off requirements in the NEET examination and achieve a place in the merit list prepared by the BCECEB will be eligible to participate in the Bihar NEET Counselling 2023. 

The Bihar NEET Counselling 2023 will allot a total of 1151 MBBS and 243 BDS seats that come under the 85% of state quota. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will handle the admissions to the remaining 15% MBBS and BDS seats available in the state that are reserved for the All India Quota (AIQ), deemed and central universities.

Eligibility Criteria for Bihar NEET Counselling 2023

All candidates are expected to satisfy the eligibility before applying for counselling. The eligibility criteria for candidates to be able to participate in the Bihar NEET 2023 counselling are as follows. 

• Bihar domicile status is a must to apply for Bihar NEET Counselling 2023.
• The candidate must have qualified the NEET 2023 examination. 
• Applicants must have completed 17 years. Anyone born on or after 02-01-2005 will not be eligible for admission. 
• The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% in class 12 board exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. A relaxation of 10% and 5% ,that is a minimum of 40% and 45% is required for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and Physically Handicapped candidates respectively.
