The counselling will be conducted in two rounds, followed by a mop-up round, and admissions will be offered for 50% of the seats reserved under the state quota. - For Assam NEET PG counselling registration, candidates can apply online through the Directorate of Medical Education Assam website- https://smbform.in/DME_ASSAMPG_2022/WebPages/instruction.php.
- Read through the instructions given carefully before clicking on the ‘Next’ button.
- Candidates should then fill out their personal, reservation, and educational details as asked and upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications.
- Next, the candidate needs to create a password (8-12 characters) before submitting the application form. This login password will be required later on during further phases of counselling such as choice filling and locking.
- Finally, take a printout of the filled-in application which is to be submitted at the allotted institute at the time of admission/document verification.
Eligibility Criteria for Assam NEET PG Counselling
Candidates need to fulfil the required eligibility criteria to be able to apply for Assam NEET PG 2022 counselling. Given below are the eligibility requirements for Assam NEET PG counselling:
- Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam state.
- Academic Qualification: Aspirants must have MBBS/BDS provisional or pass certificates from a college/institute accredited by the National Medical Commission.
- Completion of the Internship: Assam PG medical admission is only open to medical graduates who have completed rotatory internships of 12 months by March 31, 2022.
- Registration: A registration certificate must be obtained from the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC).
- Entrance Exam: NEET PG cutoff percentile 2022 is required for candidates to qualify the computer-based entrance test.
