Lila Poonawalla Foundation scholarship 2024 is an initiative by the Lila Poonawalla Foundation for girls pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a renowned institute/college from Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad. 

To attain the Lila Poonawalla scholarship 2024 eligibility, applicants must undergo an interview-based selection process and must have 70% in their last qualifying exams. Lila Poonawalla Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The Lila Poonawalla Foundation scholarship eligibility depends on the student's needs, merit, and performance in the interview round. There are different eligibility criteria for various courses. They are summarised below.

For Postgraduate Girl Students 

• The applicant should be 30 years of age.
• She should have secured a minimum score of 70% in classes 10th and 12th and graduation.
• The annual family income of the candidate should be less than INR 3,00,000.
• The student should be planning to enrol in any renowned college to pursue a post-graduation degree in any stream in the 2023-2024 academic year.

For Undergraduate Girl Students

Nursing

• The candidates must be less than 20 years of age.
• They should have an annual family income of less than INR 3,50,000 per year.
• They should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the 10th and 12th board examinations.
• She should be enrolled in the 1st year of nursing program in any reputed college.

Diploma in Engineering

• The applicant should be less than 17 years of age.
• The annual family earnings of the candidate should be less than INR 2 lakhs per annum from all sources.
• The applicant should secure 70% marks in the class 10th board.
• She should be enrolled in the 1st year of a diploma in any institute.

Science 

• The female student should be 20 years of age. 
• She should have secured a minimum of 70% marks in classes 10 and 12.
• The annual family income of the candidate should be less than INR 2,00,000 per annum from all sources.
• She should be admitted in the 1st year of undergraduate in the science stream in any recognized institution.

Pharmacy 

• The applicant must be less than 20 years of age.
• The annual family income of the candidate should be less than INR 3,50,000.
• She should have secured a minimum of 70% marks in classes 10 and 12.
• She should be enrolled in the 1st year of Pharmacy in any college. 

Engineering (B.E.)

• The applicant must be below 20 years of age.
• She should have a total annual family income that does not exceed INR 3,40,000.
• She must have secured a minimum of 70% marks in the 10th and 12th board exams.
• She should have been admitted in the 1st year of engineering in any College. 

Engineering after Diploma 

• The candidate applying should be below 21 years of age.
• The annual family income from all sources should be less than INR 3,50,000.
• She should have secured a minimum of 70% marks in her Diploma or 60% in classes 10th and 12th exams.
• She should be admitted in the 2nd year of engineering after completing a diploma in any college.
