The Chhattisgarh post-matric scholarship (CG) scholarships 2024 are provided to candidates from the SC/ST/OBC/Minority category. The Department of Social Welfare under the state government of Chhattisgarh provides CG scholarships for the benefit of Chhattisgarh students.

Eligibility Criteria for CG Scholarships

The candidates should ensure they fulfil all the requirements before applying for the CG scholarships. The eligibility criteria vary for each scholarship. Tabulated below are the details of the eligibility criteria for different CG scholarships:

Pre Matric CG Scholarship	The candidates should belong to the SC, ST or OBC categories. Students in classes IX and X can apply to the pre matric CG scholarships. The CG scholarship income limit for the family should not exceed INR 2,00,000 per annum.
CG Post Matric Scholarship	The candidates belonging to the SC, ST or OBC categories can apply. Students should be in classes XI and XII. The CG scholarship income limit for SC/ST families should not exceed INR 2,50,000 per annum. The OBC students annual family income should not be more than INR 1,00,000 per annum.
Disabled Scholarship Scheme	Disabled students, irrespective of their categories, can apply to the CG scholarships. They should be pursuing a regular full-time course in school, college or technical institution. The students should have at least 40% disabilities. The family income should not be more than INR 8,000 each month.
Unclean Business Scholarship Scheme	Students should belong to the SC/ST or OBC categories. Those from class I to class V can apply. The candidates' families should be scavengers, flayers, tanners or waste pickers by occupation. They should provide the family income certificate. However, there is no income limit for this CG scholarship.
Rajya Chatra Vritti Scheme	The students should belong to the SC/ ST or OBC categories. The female students from classes III to V and male students from classes VI to VIII can apply. The family income should not come under the tax bracket. They should not own over ten acres of land.
Chief Minister Gyan Protsahan Initiative Scheme	This chief minister's CG scholarship scheme is available to all students. They should either be in class XI or XII. The candidates should hold good academic merit. They should be studying one of the following boards: Central Board of Secondary Education Board (CBSE) Indian Council Secondary Education (ICSE) Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board (CGBSE)
Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana	The students should belong to the SC/ST category. This CG scholarship scheme is exclusively available for girls. They should be in class V or above.
DTE Chhattisgarh Scholarship	Students from all categories who have scored at least 60% or more in the class XII board exams can apply. The candidates should study in any of the institutions approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Benefits of CG Scholarships

The state government of Chandigarh grants financial aid to students. The CG scholarship rewards vary for each scheme. Some schemes will offer monetary benefits, whereas others waive off the candidate's tuition fee. Tabulated below are the benefits of different CG scholarships:

Disabled Scholarship Scheme	The students from class I to class V will receive INR 150. The students in class VI to class VIII will receive INR 170. The candidates between class IX and class XII will receive INR 190.
Unclean Business Scholarship Scheme	The selected candidates will receive a CG scholarship amount of INR 1,850 per annum.
Rajya Chatra Vritti Scheme	The female students between class III and class V will receive INR 500 per annum. The SC/ST category students from class VI to class VIII will receive the following amount every year: Female students - INR 800 Male students - INR 600 The students from the OBC category will receive the following rewards every year: Female students - INR 450 Male students - INR 300
Chief Minister Gyan Protsahan Initiative Scheme	The state government will grant INR 15,000 to the selected students under this CG scholarship 2024 scheme.
Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana	The selected female students will receive INR 500 per annum.
DTE Chhattisgarh Scholarship	The selected students in this scheme will receive INR 2,000 every month.
