  • The selected candidates will receive the following maintenance allowance every month for ten months:
    • Hostellers - INR 1,200
    • Day scholars - INR 550
  • The government will pay an additional allowance of INR 240 per month to students with disabilities.
  • They will also refund the non-refundable fees.
  • The students will receive INR 1,600 per annum as study charges.
  • The research scholars will receive INR 1,600 for printing costs and thesis typing.
Post-Matric Bihar Scholarship for BC/ EBC Students

Ministry of Labour Bihar Scholarships

The Ministry of Labour offers scholarship opportunities to students at the pre-matric and post-matric levels. Therefore, those from class I to postgraduate level can apply to the Ministry of labour's pre and post-matric Bihar scholarships. 

Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Labour Bihar Scholarships

The eligibility criteria for the pre and post-matric scholarships, run by the Ministry of Labour for the Bihar students, are as follows:

  • The family income of the cine workers should not be more than INR 8,000 per month or INR 1,00,000 per annum.
  • The candidates should be in class XI or above.
  • They should have cleared the previous qualifying examination.
  • Students should pursue general, technical or other professional courses like engineering, medical and agricultural studies.
  • Those pursuing an ITI course can also apply to this Bihar scholarship scheme.

Benefits of Ministry of Labour Bihar Scholarship 2023-24

The selected students will receive up to INR 15,000. The details of the rewards are as follows:
